Still a touchy and emotional subject, Kurt Cobain’s death continues to plague fans and friends of the famous singer. Cobain and his band Nirvana are credited with bringing the grunge scene to the mainstream, his songs often regarded as the voice of a generation. Screenwriter David Benioff has signed a deal to write a film script on the famed singer’s life…and death. The movie will be based on the book Heavier Than Heaven. Cobain’s widow, Courtney Love, will serve as an executive producer.
