I wrote an article that started off trying to find out why the Wii is outselling the other two consoles and it ended up bing a brief history of consoles as well.  Remember that it’s just one person opinion.

I would love to get anyones opinion on the standard on my writting.  If it sucks, feel free to tell me.  I’m trying to improve my overall standard of writing and any adivse as to the improvement of my writing skills will always appreciated.

“the fact that the price is reasonable also affects the buyers choice and the fact that it does something different (even if it is really a gimmick).  “

Bingo, you have it in a nutshell there.  Good marketing to the right demographic is also part fo what they are doing well to sell boxes.

Re the article, didn’t read any but the end yet, but the formatting needed work in IE when I peeked at it.

I read it, and I think you should check some of your facts. The N64 did have a 64-bit processor. So did the PS2.

Additionally, I think you should invest more time in proofreading. Grammatical mistakes are rampant. Example: affect is a verb, effect is a noun. They are not interchangeable.

It was interesting, though. You should probably also include, at some point, that you are European because when you say “We chose the Master System,” I got a little confused, until I realized that you were continuing from the previous section in which you said that Europeans didn’t bite on the NES. Also on the Sega front, the Megadrive is called the Genesis, in the States. That was a bit confusing, at first.

I will work on the grammer.  A side not; when I was refering to the n64 not being 64-bit, I was commenting on the whole system.  The Atari Jaguar had a 64-bit CPU but the rest of the machine was 16-bit.

Updated the page.  I see what you mean when you say that it was full of gramatical errors.

You wouldn’t have thought that english was my first language.  The moral of the story is to never post an artical at 4AM in the morning, without first reading it propperly.

Hopefully it only sucks now.smile
