Ok, so that crazy rumor going around seems to be true after all. Bungie now has a press
release stating that they and MS have parted ways. Of course, the deal is almost certianly
slanted in MS direction (as they were the whole owners of Bungie).

Huh, well I hope the best for them in the next game they make.  Maybe Marathon sequal, or new ip?  Who knows, but this deal has a bunch of strings attached…

It sounds like we won’t notice any difference, though. MGS is still their publisher, which means they’ll still push for fast release dates (because all publishers do that). It also sounds like Bungie will be working on (yet) another Halo title. Honestly, I’d rather have Pimps at Sea, at this point.
