I think Andru treats us fine. I thik we have been welcomed and quite nicely tolerated considerign how we hole up in this one little spot in the forums and probably scare away any outsiders who happen to venture in.
On the other topic, Andy doesn’t owe any of us Jack. We don’t pay him to podcast for us, he has to earn real life $ somehow and have time for his real life. If this is an unpayign JOB, then he would simply stop doing it, because work sucks in general, especially if you don’t get paid. Add that to the real lives that Hawkes and Edie and George have, and we are really lucky to get anything at all.
I appreciate the shows when I get them, and make no demands otherwise.

This is a good site, and the personal avatars, and signature were not available when we first arrived. Andru has been very acomadating with the arrival of the Chapel Bandits. I got to say that the front page is pretty darn cool to check out. Lots of good articles, and bits.
As for the GAL podcasts; its nice to hear those shows, but I can deffinetly understand the difficulty of getting together for a show under a busy schedual. If you guys are in a fix for a podcast you can check out the AI Podcast. Hell if any thing it would be great it Andy would be a guest. If you got time brother, but I can understand if you don’t at the moment.
Lets just keep it real, and be thank full for what we have in this community. The GAL community is one of the best in the gaming world to be apart of.

As regards this site; I find it to be pleasantly welcoming and that fact that they ask our opinion on improving it to be a godsend.
If you don’t believe me; go post a message on 1UP or IGN and you will see the difference between a site that’s run by A-HOLES and this site, that does seem to want to be the best it can.
I must admit that some of the replies, remind me of a married couple and Andy’s the husband and we think that he should be devoted to us and no one else. Well; we’re not married and we should be thankful for whatever we get. The last statement was meant to be tongue-in-check.
I’m fairly happy with Andru’s efforts here at GearLive. They post a lot of stories, they have like four regular shows, and the forums are rarely down. My only complaint is the spam and the fact that most of the GAL folks never venture out of this corner of the forums.
I can’t wait to hear Andy’s stories of early to bed, early to rise, though!
I have nothing against 1UP personally. I was using them as an example of the fact that user comments aren’t given anywhere near the personal touche that you will find here.
I could have picked IGN, Future publishing or any other major website that is part of a corporation.
As regards to spam. I get that on my forum; the difference is, I delete it as soon as I find it. This site is a lot bigger and busier than than mine;so it would be unfair to compare the two.

This is awesome and I wouldn’t want those who don’t leave the GamerAndy Live! section to miss out, there’s a forum thread here you may want to check out.
I try to listen live as regular as I can and it starts at 1AM in the morning here in the UK. So sometimes, I try and get some sleep but I’m an insomniac.
Not too much else to report, working everyday for the next three days and then heading to Donegal for the weekend. Haven’t been up there in ages, so I’m looking forward to going, if anything for a change of scene.
