MTV has announced the nominees for the video music awards, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake coming away with seven nods each. The two will compete for both best artist of the year and best video of the year, though each has been named for several other categories. Though only eight awards will be given out, the two-hour special will be jam-packed with live performances and the TV antics that only MTV can provide.
