Could you word that better? Do you mean don’t be lazy like OSVG and not delete spam. ‘cause I remember him not really doing anything about spam. What the hell happened to him anyway. And Sharon0, we lost her too. God damnit, I just had a flashback of Gamerandy, those forums had such good f’ing memories.

Well here is whats so funny about the whole OSVG thing that Mr_D is talking about. Every one was complaining about all that nasty spam, and OSVG was a moderator, but did not have the ability to delete the spammers from the forums. The discussion went on forever about getting rid of the spammers, and OSVG was asking Andy over, and over again to let him have the ability to get rid of the spammers. This went on for months. Then Andy finally gave OSVG what he was asking for, and he went to work. He got rid of hundreds of spammers. Thats when we moved to Worth Playing. It was poetic in the most tragic of ways for OSVG. Just as he cleaned up most of the crap on the forums at GA it was closed down.

I believe OSVG is writing for a site some place in cyber space.

I would agree its rude to go try to change an existing forum.  By the same token, I am not trying to change anything about the rest of this site.  Just keeping things within the GA community without polluting the GA live community general boards.

I feel talking about the things we usually discuss amongst ourselves for the express purpose of putting up things we would talk to Andy, Edie, and Hawkes about is appropriate use of the forum, regardless of the sub-genre of the topic.

Eh, it’s bugging me less now that I’ve had some sleep. Everyone is being very civilized about it, too. I frequent the Xfire forums and flame wars start up a heckuva lot more frequently there than here, I just thought I smelt smoke. Either way I do agree with you pretty much, I would rather see a more condensed forum.

Although, like Andy reappeared to say, something is happening. As to it being in the context of the podcast or the forum layout is beyond me.

Has anyone else noticed that the traffic on our forum area is alot high, than the rest of the forum..
Is they why they want us to use the other area.
