Really, forums rely on their members to grow the community. I am thinking of some ways to make them more active. For example, I recently started integrating forum links into posts on the main page of Gear Live. This takes the reader straight to the forum for discussion.
Once there is more activity, I plan to do a weekly (or even daily) “Best of the forums” on Gear Live, where I link to 5 good forum posts/discussions that occurred that week/day.
yea, i’d have to agree that forums have really gone down… the only posts are random people spamming referral links. good luck with getting it back up though.
I agree. I’d love to see a new thread that isn’t titled “CHECK OUT THIS NEW WEBSITE!11!!1” or “GET A FREEE IpOD!”. In fact… I’m going to go think of some topics which may be of interest and make some posts.
I realise you may want to kill me for mentioning free ipods now but *site removed really helped me to get my referals. It’s basically a free stuff site (probs the biggest). If you feel like thanking me my referal is http://xbox360s.freepay.com/?r= i realise that people posting there referals links had gotta be annoying but at least chek the site out first eh?
How about no?
I think you should be banned just for posting your refferal link in the same thread where we are talking about how people like you deteriorate this forum.
What’s annoying about CoComment? If you don’t have a CoComment account, it shouldn’t even be affecting you. If it is, I need to fix something (although, it is a wicked cool service).
