I rather like the orange, myself. I wouldn’t think it’d work, but it does.

Wel I do like the white back ground. It works very well with my new avatar. 

The orange does work, and it’s beginning to grow on me. I was just pointing out the fact that these forums are, indeed, orange.

They are quite orange.

I don’t mind, but it’s a big, big difference from WP and the other forum that I visit.

I personally like it. It’s nice and clean like the GAL’s original forums.

It’s awesome to see a gaming podcast moving to GL, especially all the new gamers - Welcome!!!

Oh I beg to differ, good sir, but in fact orange does rule more than green. Although a nice, bright neon green comes in a close second.

Not to be a wet blanket, but anybody have any thoughts on ep 78?

I loved it 78 it was pretty damn funny and George still has mono (LMAO). the only thing that bothered me was the faint echo effect in the background. GAL’s podcasts are funny and witty and thats why I love them.

P.S. you can’t take anything I say seriously I am easy to please.

Episode 78 opinion:

Ok, I will start with the negative:
There was a noticable echo.
George: You can’t play Gamecube games in HD with a Wii, the Wii doesn’t do HD.

The Neutral:
I think the Army of Two: Kane and Lynch exclusivity is not nearly as big of a deal as Edie was making of it.  Oblivion was thought to be a 360 exclusive until it was a hit, then they started talking multiplatforms.  I don’t know that many people who are that hyped for this title.
Saint’s Row was thought of as a 360 exclusive, and it no longer is either.
I think MS will start to worry when Bioware takes their portfolio to Sony. 
Let’s face it, the only exclusives that either one can count on are first party titles.

The Good:
Great banter, good flow, some nice points by George on both FF XIII as well as the Elite bridging the gap to the PS3.

Please don’t bring up any thing about the PS3 durring the show. Its just a waste of time, and money. The only time that it would be worth is to bash the heck out of it.  jk

I’ll say it again, the PS3 makes a good Blu-Ray player.

And nothing else.  So lets see what it take to make the PS3 good:

1. Playstation 3 (60GB)
2. Good playstation games (1 in existence)
3. Blu-Ray dvds
4. A thousand dollar HDtv to watch the blu-ray movies properly

I don’t think I missed anything, so lets see what the grand total is…just about $2000.

well maybe it is just me, but that is a little much

P.S.  I am not trying to bash sony, i know that you can add up the stuff for any console, I am just saying that the PS3 is not worth the effort.

I would much prefer the 20GB PS3. You don’t need that extra 40GB. Other than that, the only real difference is WiFi. No one gives a #### about card readers.
