I’m thinking of signing up, but I wanted to hear from other people that have used it and are on it.

Basically, with Offspot, you make wallpapers, ringtones, and screen savers and video for mobile phones, and then you put them on your profile (Like You Tube for mobile) and then you can actually sell them per download (like iTunes, but for your phone)

Original content, and you can sell or share, and your profile is a lot like myspace. That’s 3 reasons. Perfect for creating mobile phone ID’s with your artwork or music. Easy way to get your music ringtones out there.

My friend started an account at offspot.com/mangamonkey I dunno, what do you think?

That sounds cool, I have some stuff I could probably sell up there - things left over from when I was an audio engineer.  I wish I could sell the sound of certain famous actors screaming at the studio over the phone that I recorded way back when, but no, I mean sound design stuff I did. It would be cool to hear someone’s mobile ringing with my tracks as a ring tone.  I’ll have to check out this OffSpot.
