Although it seemed easier in your case, I wasnt transfered, instead the same guy who answered helped me. They arent sending me any forms at all, but they are giving me my money back and they said they are going to dispute it with the payment processor themselves. They said the money will be credited back to my account within 2 business days, so thats over $800 dollars. I asked about forms and he said theres no need to fill them out because we will take over from here.. yadda yadda yadda
In the end, they were very helpful and nice and hopefully everything goes smooth

Lol. I don’t trust 12dp anymore, and I don’t trust stormpay. I wouldnt want to wait so they can refund me basically the same amount I’m getting back by doing the chargeback, this way I am basically guaranteed my money and not only that I get it back now instead of whenever stormpay feels like it..
im not too sure i trust 12dp anymore either… just look at their newest updates… “stormpay stole money” to “stormpay is our friend” and now its back to “stormpay refuses to comply, we’re suing them”. wtf, stormpay. just give us our $@%@#ing money!
Exactly, waiting this out would have cost me more than 1k additionally, because you only get a very limited time frame for chargebacks with credit cards (basically 30 days) if I hadn’t used my credit card and only used my debit card, I could have waited 90 days until I would have had to make a definate decision. Oh well..
I’ll atleast be where I started off at, back at square one with 3.9 k I really feel sorry for the people who didnt fund stormpay with a check or credit card…
You file a claim, but it will get denied, but I suggest doing it anyway so you have proof you tried to get your money back on your own.
P.S. Since my disputed transactions added up to almost 4 grand, Bank of Albuquerque had a claims specialist personally call my house for more details on my situation. I ended up faxing them documents from 12 daily pro and the news report from ABC4 that talked about stormpay being the scammer, not 12 daily pro. I also had to fax them my 12 daily pro account history.
I did a charge back on the last possible day. I got the money back to my CC today and am told that they can be refunded to SP the next 6 months. Will SP be eligheble to do so???

I have just recieved emails in my inbox stating that my stormpay account has been suspended, apparently my check card chargebacks have gone through, but I have yet to see the money in my actual account. Also still no word on the credit card chargebacks.

Yes, DO IT. StormPay is losing a lot of money from people performing chargebacks. That’s the only reason why they claim that it is a “violation” to do so—they are trying to retain as much money as they can. As far as I am concerned, you should suck those bastards dry. Get every penny that is rightfully yours and let StormPay cringe. Violation my ass. Don’t be bullied by StormPay!
