Same here. It looks a lot like the saw series, and saw 1 + 2 were sick!

I haven’t seen it but apparently people say it’s sick, twisted and one bloody mess.  I don’t think that’s my kind of movie but I’m sure it’s some other folks cup of tea…folks who like having nightmares.

Okay, I have not had a chance to see it but in the video store afew weeks back a total stranger told me that if I have seen the movie High Tension then Hostel is very similar. High Tension is a French horror flick set in an isolated French farmhouse with two teenage girls trying to get away from a crazed serial killer. Or are they? It’s very twisted, bloody, and violent. I think Hostel is out on DVD now so you can rent both movies and just plan on not sleeping for a few days due to the nightmares.

If you liked the Saw movies you are probably going to like this.  Just make sure you know what you are getting.

Hostel is ok but not great, a forgettable movie.  No nightmares though..only movies with ghosts/demons scare me.  Never did see Saw but heard it’s better than Hostel.

I heard this was quite a disturbing movie. Quentins the man though!

just wanted to say that I just rented both Saw 1 and Saw2 and they’re both very good,..even the sequel!!
I usually don’t like gory scenes but if it has a good plot behind it and is relevant, it makes it even better lol

Hostel doesn’t even compare to this and looks stupid in comparison ..in my opinion anyways. A must see

I seen hostel it was a bloody movie and was good. hostel 2 however sucked

I’ve never seen Hostel but I think I would one of these days, maybe I did see it and totally forgot about it! In my opinion, it’s not really one of the “top” horror/scary movies I’ve heard people talk about.

It’s full of blood shed and gory scenes Umm! pretty close to Saw series.
