Just out of curiosity, why do points-based sites seem to have such high requirements to get your free gift compared to referral-based sites?

my guess could be that when u get referrals, a site could potentially get more ppl to sign up because if u get 5 ppl for a site, then ur referrals each get 5, thats a lot of money for them, so in a way they make u do more offers so itll make up for the potentially lost referrals
