first of all, sorry to hemmingway for whatever family problem is happening. If it is that serious then anyone should be able to understand that part and have some empathy.
But it is also strange how the ads are updated pretty regularly if there isn’t any time :? . Sure adding in features or upgrading current features and request could take time but still. I am personally still pretty upset that the promised cash/paypal offer features were never implemented even though they were said to be coming…that is the main reason I even signed up. And how many months later has it still not been added? It seems every month or two a QT complaint thread comes up with a lot of unhappy users but it never seemed like any of the request/complaints were taken serious. Answers to good questions weren’t even taken serious and just ignored.
I really wanted QT to be great, and it was useful for a bit…but without updates and inactive users it has become somewhat useless. Just about 2 weeks ago I sent out 119 trade request through QT. I got back 4 replies. Two from people saying “no thanks” and the other two somewhat turned out into trades…so far, or at least interest. The rest must either be inactive or just didn’t bother to reply.
As for referrals swapper, I have had really good luck with it and like it a lot. Not only did it have a nice layout and worked well from the start, the admin is actually very eager to implement good suggestions and ideas. There is already a paypal/cash feature in the system which is something I wanted for a long time on QT but never seemed to matter enough to have it iplemented.
Referral Swapper also have quite a few more members that you think Hemmingway. As of right now it already has 612 (says right on the homepage) which is half as many as QT…ALREADY! And it has only been around a month or so. Won’t be long until it has 1,200 or more users. Sure it’s not perfect but with users request being added in all the time it won’t be long before it is perfect. I am very happy with it so far and even more impressed at the admin’s involvement.
I support Gear Live so I also support QT in a way, but I have to be honest and say that you dropped the ball a long while back and didn’t seem to care to fix it. Just adding in a few of the requested features would have given it a refreshing change. Unforntunately, it is very hard to imagine that many of those 1,200 users are still active. QT was the first, but it is not the best anymore though it still has potential.
