so my monitor burned out. how do i know? i smelled something toasty, and nothing shows up on my monitor when i turned on my comp….i borrowed my bro’s monitor, and everything came up, so i know its the monitor and not video card.

this blows. i cant really afford a new monitor…...its time to steal one…....

or, does anyone know of a really good deal?

Man hardly no one sells regular monitors anymore.  It’s a big push towards LCD’s and I know they’re overpriced.  :x   $400 for a 15” viewable area is a joke and a ploy to get you to buy whole new systems so that it’s cheaper.

Circuit City has some deals though.

i’m gonna chunk 600 for a dell 2001fp 20.1 tft.

ok, not really, but its a thought, lol…..

i’d like something in the 19in range, dunno if i could go back to a 17 in screen, lol.
