Are you using a usb keyboard? If so try using an older ps/2 keyboard to get into bios. Make sure your cd is set ahead of your hd in the boot order and try again.

Well my computer died a few days ago, sort of. During start up it goes to a screen saying “file is missing or corrupt system32/ntroskrnl.exe” So I tried reformatting with a copy of xp pro, but I couldnt get the cd to boot. The mouse and keyboard dont come into action until the xp login screen, so I cant press F1 or esc or enter or anything to get into the bios. Anyone have any idea how I could fix my comp?
