What is your favorite decade, and list your favorite songs from that decade. You can do the current millenium, 90s, 80s, 70s… 60s, if you want. 50s if you’re bold. 20s if you’re into the charleston.

I’ve been rockin the 80s tunes lately… all the great stuff. Let me know.

80’s had some decent music. The Cure was the stuff back then…now they kinda suck. Tears for Fears, Billy Joel was still making music, so were The Ramones, The Police, The Clash. Bad Religion started in the early eighties too. Let’s not forget the beginnings of hip hop. Public Enemy, Sugarhill Gang, Big Daddy Kane, Grandmaster Flash, and others.  Best album of the 80’s though, “Thriller” back when Michael Jackson was still black and wasn’t into little boys. Pull that record out and it still makes you dance.

I dunno, they all have their good songs and such. Good music transcends time and space. I like all the decades 😛

I have a question about decades, to be honest—what if you like something from 1902? Or 1908? What do you call those first years? I know that, like, 1915 and 1917 are known as the “teen” years, but what about 1900-1910? And what about 1911 and 1912? They’re not officially teens either =\

The 90’s were best for me. Probably because I made some really good associations to the music. I graduated from high school in ‘92, went to college, and turned 21 in 95. I got married in ‘98.

So I end up listening to a lot of Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, White Zombie, etc. because the music brings back lots of memories.

I like the 80’s and 90’s.  Hard to pick out of those two decades though.

The ought years, as in, Nineteen Ought Two.
All you need to describe 1911 is the Springfield .45.

I like some of the 80’s pop music. Other than that I am a fan on the 90’s and some of todays music.
