I don’t know when or how exactly it happened, but for some reason my audio channels are reversed now.  No, I will not tolerate “switching the speakers around”  😛 Because I use headphones for games such as Counter-Strike often, so I need to fix this (hearing gunshots from the opposite sides are very disorienting).

I use the built-in soundcard (nVidia Soundstorm nForce) on my Asus A7N8X Deluxe motherboard.

Any ideas?  How can I reverse channels via Windows?

Try going to control panel and restoring all the defaults in “Sounds and Audio Devices.” Also maybe look for your motherboards sound drivers and reinstall them.

Tried restoring my defaults…nothing.

Uninstalled and upgraded drivers…nothing.

I just need a way to switch channel encoding so that left becomes right, and vice-versa…any clues?
