my boss got it for my cubicle at work. for me, i’d rather just listen to my regular stations. the couple stations that i do listen to while i’m at work woudn’t make it worth it. i just use it cuz its free, hehe. it is nice that they tell you the artist and song though. its done on some regular stations, but you have to have a radio that’s able to take the signal. i think a radio station was trying to play a joke and made the display on my friend’s radio flash “butthole” we had a good laugh about that. but i digress. it would great in cases like munky though, where you do a lot of traveling, i hate losing my radio stations once i get into some boonie city in the middle of BFE. but then again, that’s where my ipod kicks in :D

I have one, and I love it—it’s got alot of stations that you could never get on regular radio not to mention that I go on 200-500 mile trips all the time, so keeping a radio station is really tough—nothing is worse than finally finding a radio station that you really like just to have it go out on you.

Hell ya.  Satellite radio is way better than regular Fm radio.  If you want more info, visit http://www.xmfan.com or http://www.siriusbackstage.com/forum/ and look from there.  There’s a special right now for Sirius where you can get the equipment (the PnP and the cradle) for $49.99 and then just subscribe for 6 months of service (about $70-$80).  Trust me man, once you go sat radio, you’ll never go back 😊

Here’s pics of my install of the Clarion PNP in my truck: http://www.gearlive.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=852

You can listen to streaming samples at xm’s website.  I would rather listen to plane stations, it’s nice when they’re from the area I’m in, music played, weather, news, ect are all for the specific area. I would get it if I lived out in the middle of nowhere and all that was on the radio was Country and Religious crap like the Berkishires. 😊

lol, yeah.  I live out here in the middle of no where and I *hate* the radio stations here.  Talk about major crap, ick!  You can also listen to a 3 day trial at Sirius.  http://www.sirius.com click on the bottom right link.
