[quote author=“rgriffy”][quote author=“sweet jesus”]Oregon trail was great. All I did was hunt.

“you have killed 1800 lbs. of meat. you can only carry 200 lbs.”

Hunting was the best!

Seriously.  Definately was!  I loved that game; but why can’t the other family members help out carrying that food?  Are they all just lazyasses or something?  Sheesh!

I looked through some old boxes and i found Oregon trail and number crunchers.  Pure classics for the old old old old 4th grade computers with the DVD sized floppy drives and the monitors that came in one color…...... GREEN.

Did anybody ever beat Oregon trail or number crunchers??
I beat Oregon trail once and that took forever.

oregon trail was awesome. i think i’ve got oregon trail 3 sittin around somewhere. exact same game, just a slight upgrade on graphics. i can’t believe it took you forever to beat the game once, lol. in grade school, we’d have contests in our computer class to see who could beat it first. DAMN YOU JAUNDICE! DAMN YOU! but at least you go to write what was on your headstone 😊

Number crunchers was intense too. Did anyone play Otter Lake?

I’ve played so many versions of Oregon trail… the one with the boats at the end was classic. The original didn’t have that. I remember playing and trying to get all my family killed by leaving in the winter and not feeding them, or by trying to fjord in 18 feet of water.

Number crunchers was great, but so was Word Munchers! That was even more classic! And Super Word Munchers was awesome, when you’d get the cape.
