Well my mouse just went insane and stopped working.. so i got a new mouse today.. of course optical.. and I never liked 5 button mouses because I always hit the side buttons by accident but I got one because it was the same price as the 3 button.  I’ve only had it a day and I already really like it.

I have my side buttons set to Back and the other to open IE.

What mouse do you have?.. wheel or optical? wire or wireless? 2 or 3 or 5 button?

Logitech MX 700 -Cordless. It has the 2 side buttons, I use them for forward and back. It also has 2 autoscroll buttons and a switch app button those of which I never use. It’s a great mouse though, I got it with wireless keyboard combo. Both use the same receiver which doubles as a charger for the mouse.

maybe I was a little biased on that one. hmm side scroll wheel. So do some MS mice have a side and top scroll wheel?

Well isn’t that more of a software thing than a hardware thing?

ya, what i was referring to was the tilting wheel ms has on their mice…so not only can you roll the scrool up and down, to can tilt the wheel left of right, and it will scroll the window left and right.
