Yeah, I just wanted to quote this ‘cause it looked interesting and I figured a bunch of you might like it (for some reason):

The connection between the language in which we think/program and the problems
and solutions we can imagine is very close. For this reason restricting
language features with the intent of eliminating programmer errors is at best
dangerous.

- Bjarne Stroustrup in The C++ Programming Language

Again, “tawlk amungst yaselves as I’m feelin’ a little verklempt.”

Here’s one from my favorite author:

“Heresy is another word for freedom of thought.”

My favourite is one from a book called Geeks: How Two Lost Boys Rode the Internet Out of Idaho by Jon Katz:

[quote author=“Geeks by Jon Katz”]The trick is to take something that’s painful, and to make it so trivial that it’s inconsequential. Just walk away and make it trivial. .. If you don’t like it, leave, leave fast, make it trivial.

Hey, that is a pretty funny quotation, Ms. Lo =P Me, on the other hand—I am still trying to figure what my quotation said. LOL
