PC for normal web stuff, but my mac is second to none for doing heavy duty graphics, and animations.

I just picked a 500 MHz G3 dark blue iMac! yay!  Friend is moving out, and they asked me if I wanted the iMac, and i said hell yeah!  It’s very interesting having it next to my new 1.25 GHz iMac (iLamp…lol) amazing how technology changes…

I use a PC because I play a lot of games.  Also I don’t have the money to buy a Mac. PC are always cheaper and easier for me to custom build.

you can have a “virtual windows” on your mac, where you can run all windows stuff (some program out there, my friend has it, works pretty well), then when you get sick of pc mode, just shut it off and go back to mac’in it.

ya, I know.  That program is just so big and I run a lot of design programs on my mac.  I heard games aren’t that good on virtual PC.  Is that true?

wow, im a big fan of macs, but ive got a pc for the games :(

as for games in virtual pc…good luck. emulated hardware is always slower (ive heard its generally 1/4 to 1/10 as fast), so playing any recent game is pretty much out of the question…

btw, anyone see the article a while ago about some guy who ran osx on his pc thru some powerpc emulator? it was horribly slow (i think1/100th of the speed it really was), but it ran and there were some screenshots….i think /. ran the story…

Man, this 500 MHz G3 iMac I picked up fricken rocks!!  It’s so nice to have one of the first iMacs made in well working order, kinda speedy too! with a new 17” 1.25 GHz G4 iMac (iLamp)...  :D

Even though my 1.25 GHz G4 iMac pwns the G3, I still like it!

I recently converted to macs.  PCs became such a pain, especially when I joined digital arts/animation classes.  And since macs are renowned for their usefulness in these fields, I started using the macs in my school computer lab.  After the first try, I was sold!  Macs are frickin’ awesome for what I hope to do with my camcorder!

I work on pc’s running XP and 2000 all day long.  It is a JOY to come home to my room filled with Macs.

I HATE Windows, and am not too happy with the Intel platform.

As for games, that’s what game consoles are for.
