Old, but still runs well:

Thermaltake Xaser II Aluminum case (it has a side window with blue cathode lights in it but they’re turned off because they’re too bright at night)
Thermaltake 480w PS
Soyo KT333 Dragon Platinum Edition (the PCB is white)
AMD Athlon XP 1700+
1024 MB Crucial PC2100 DDR memory
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128 MB
NEC DVD+/-RW ND-2510A Black DVD burner (the nice dual layer one 😊 )
Yamaha 20x10x40x CDRW burner
Western Digital 80 gig special edition hard drive (8 meg buffer)
Western Digital 60 gig hard drive (standard 2 meg buffer)

All connected to my Logitech Elite keyboard, Logitech MX700 wireless mouse, Klipsch Promedia THX certified speakers with my grand 20.1 inch Dell flat panel ultrasharp monitor.  woot!

Wow, nice. I see you got the Dell FPD, is that the new 17”?? I like those. I have the Dell 18.1” 1801FP from last year, I like it a lot.

Nope.  That’s the 20” inch Dell 2001FP version.  I used to have an old phillips 15” flat panel LCD, and I wanted to get the 17” from dell, but I just HAD to get the 20” instead 😉

Oh wow, the 2001. I was about to buy that one, but I got a good deal on the 1801… I really really wanted that 2001, but the deal I found was just too good to pass up. I got mine unopened off ebay. Not that i’m diappointed, I’d just really like the 20” monitor.

I bought my Dell 18.1” brand new on ebay for $345 (including shipping). I bought my grandma the Dell 17” dispaly for $360 (including shipping) on ebay, too.

My 18.1”, which retailed for $579 (not including shipping) on dell.com was definitely a steal!

Wow Tighr, nice deal!

[quote author=“antman22”]i wish i had a cool grand to spend on one of those dell displays.

Got mine for $700 on sale from Dell’s small business site. Funny thing is, I’m not a small business. It was still a grand over on their home site.

I’ll take some pics when I get a chance.

here’s mine. its real boring. Its the first computer I built myself(last october). I was on a budget. The only flashy thing I have on this is the blue led fan that sits at the top of the grill. It looks sorta cool with the lights off. Other than that, no flash, just function.

Asus P4P800 Deluxe
P4 2.4 800mhz fsb, OC’d to 2.7 right now (managed to get it to 3.1 on my pc2700 ram)
1 gig (512x2) pc 2700: crucial
120 gig WD SATA hdd
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro
Pioneer 16x dvd drive
Lite-On 52x32x52 cd-r
Logitech z-640 5.1 system 〈not pictured〉
a whole buncha fans to keep it cool. (runs about 26-30*C, runnin 27*C right now)
19” NEC Multisync 97F (ready to chunk and get that dell 2001fp, heh)

I took these pics today after I gave my comp a dustin it needed.

Here’s the insides. Ya, its messy, I have to get some rounded cables for this sucker.

Here’s teh front. Like I said, boring. Its a full tower, its pretty tall.
