Check out the main Gear Live site - Toys R Us has liquidated a bunch of games, a lot as low as $5.00!  :o

hey gohan, I’ve been to canada and i know they have something similar to Toys-R-Us down there! At least, they did when I was there last…maybe not in your area…

http://www.toysrus.ca/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/TRUHomePage?storeId=10051&catalogId=10051&langId=-1&N=27

Don’t give up hope yet!

This gives me a chance to expand my big whopping “1” game ps2 collection ...only got the ps2 to play MSG2 and was sorely disappointed :( MSG1 was so much better, even though it was ps1 and not as good of graphics, the story was a million times better, and there was more content (2 discs)... :( 😢

You do realize that the storage capacity of a PS2 disc is higher than those of PS1’s, right?

Not to mention most PS2 games are bloated with unnecessary graphics and stuff that just waste space and don’t add to the quality of the game???

Haha, just playin the role of Nintendo Fanboy.

Pretty cool—I go by one on my way home, so I’ll have to stop and check them out.

just want to let you know that the list is not difinitive…

i went today to get soul calibur 2 for the cube and it came up as the $20 original price and not the $10 clearance price.

I have picked up the following games though:

Blood Rayne (GC) - $14.98 - $7.49 = $7.49
Rogue Ops (GC) - $19.99 - $10 = $9.99
ATV: Quad Power Racing (GC) - $19.99 - $10.00 = $9.99
NBA Street Vol. 2 (GC) - $19.99 - $10.00 = $9.99
Sphinx with free t-shirt :D (GC) - $12.95 - $6.48 = $6.47

(original price) - (discount) - (price paid)

also, as you can imagine…all 3 stores I checked had severely limited inventory which means this promotion is working (even though its not promoted through conventional methods and thus, the people who know about it are going and getting everything to themselves).

i am dying to pick up THUG (GC), Soul Calibur 2 (GC), True Crime (GC), and SSX3 (GC) for the $10 each one is listed as but no one has them or the price is not showing up as the price listed on the sheet (like in the Soul Calibur 2 case)

This is probably why the games are so cheap. This is unfortunate. Damn Wal-Mart should be burned to the ground.

I headed over to TRU yesterday.  I don’t know if it’s national or not, but they had a LOT of stuff marked 50% off, not just Video Games.  They had some Stikfas half price.  Very cool little action figures.

Anywho, I found two Dreamcast games (Bass Fishing, and MLB game) for $2.50 and an NHL Hockey game for N64 for $1.50.

Even if you only play it once it was cheaper than renting the games.  3 games for under 8 bucks including tax.  w00t!

TRu is not the only place with heavy discounts.  I saw THUG for $20 at EBGames, and there were others.  Like I think I saw R&C2 for $20 as well.
