What’s up people. I’ve been currently on the market for a new TV. But I’d like some suggestions on some TV’s. I wanted a widescreen TV. But not sure if I should go for the Tube 30 - 34inch or fork over a couple more for a plasma or flat screen. Please help if you can. Thanks!!  :D

What is your price range? How big is the room, how far away do you sit from the TV? 😊

dont know if this will help, but if ur getting a plasma, make sure u dnt live in a high altitude area, a la colorado. the gas in the plasma chamber doesnt work too well, so u’d be better off with a crt or lcd.

some brands i recommend, sony, nakamichi, and last time i checked, the pioneer elites werent too shabby either. just hit up a store, and check them all out, its the best way. im sorta a sony freak myself.

I would stay away from Plasma altogether and instead pick up a DLP unit.

Thanks for the replys. I guess the price range would be 2000 around that range. Family room size I guess. To antman22 I live in NYC so don’t think it’ll be a problem. Which brand has the best TV’s though. I noticed some brands the colors aren’t the same for Plasma TV’s. I hear you on the Sony though.

Why should I stay away from Plasma? DLP ??

I love my Samsung. I also love the argument that Sony has about how most HD programming is filmed with a Sony camera, so why not watch it on a Sony.

Here is something you won’t listen to (or read) from numerous individuals. Tvs are pretty comparative when they are not alongside different Tvs. I have some incredible mark Tvs and some no name Tvs in my home. In all honesty, when I am in the room with the Visio or Lg, I can’t tell a contrast in picture from my high close Sony. I have a hypothesis that Best Buy adores their divider of Tvs on the grounds that just when distinctive Tvs are as one would you be able to tell a contrast.

So… run with what you like. Take a gander at the characteristics. Do you need enduring or short.

Continuously run with a 1080p picture, never a 720p and never one that closures in ‘i’. Search for unified with sound yields in the event that you need to include decent sound later… if not, don’t stress over this).

For enduring, you may search for unified with remote N Internet, yet that includes a great deal of expense and you can dependably include Internet with a Roku unit for minimal expenditure. In 5 years, a great deal of Tv will be from the Internet and not your link association… be that as it may provided that you are like me, I will have new Tvs in 5 years, so this is a level necessity.

My general exhortation, search for a Tv that is sensibly estimated, 1080p, sound out, and looks decent to the eye. Overall, let cost standard.

Goodness, and don’t get tricked by expensive Hdmi links. I have some $3 links that my film dogmatist companions think are $100 Hdmi links. Provided that they can’t see what matters, not, one or the other will you (or me).

Good fortunes.
