Michael is making quick recovery from his cancer and is all geared up for the Dexter season 5. Recently he gave a brief sneak peak about season 5 premier and on the death of Rita to a renown magazine, He said “In the first episode, I think Dexter is in a state of suspended shock when he encounters his wife’s corpse.  But after six years of playing a funeral director on Six Feet Under, it was fun for me to be on the other side of an intake meeting with a director who wasn’t played by me.” Julie Benz is making appearance as dead body of Rita for investigations and for the funeral in the first episode of the season 5. He also added that he was respectful of Benz for making appearance after quitting the show.
