Has anyone played or know someone who has Wii Fit?

Does it actually work, I know i’ve read reviews and what not but people can be such liars raspberry.
I just wanted to know if anyone has it and his/her experience with it. My idea is just using it as something to do once in a while because I do go to the gym and what not.

In my opinion, Wii Fit is kind of a rip off but kind of not. I think that the board was made so that people can have fun while getting into the habit of fitness. Like Clint, you said to go get a gym membership. Yes, that is probably 100x more effective than the Wii Fit, but this will get people in the habit of thinking “hey, workin out aint so bad. I’ll try the gym after all.” Also, being a 13 year old kid, it kind of seems fun too while getting your exercise that you should get without having to go outside. So, its not the best, but good enough to get people out out of their habits of sitting down and pressing buttons on a controller all day.

Also, some families can’t really afford the workout equipment, and they have kids who might want to so the Wii Fit is an option for kids until they are old enough to purchase gym membership or epuipment. That’s how I persuaded my mom to buy the Wii Fit for me. But, I’m still trying to persuade her into getting me the 3G iPhone.

I would also like to see Andru make an Unboxing Live episode about this. That’ll be really cool. raspberry

I bought Wii Fit lol.
Its great fun to do since I dont get home till about 9pm i dont have time to go to the gym.
So i take morning jobs and do the Wii Fit at night.
It really is alot better than everyone seems to give it credit for.
By no means does it replace working out in general but for people who may have busy schedules that dont allow them to go to the gym during the week like me it is extremely nice to have.
As I would never attempt to join a yoga class but in the comfort of my own home why not right!

I’ve heard of Wii fit and has seen it here and there in the stores but it never sparked an interest.  As Bryan says, it’s great to use with, if not compliment going to the gym but I cannot see it replacing a gym.  If it works for you and you lose X pounds because of it, more power to ya smile

I love where the Nintendo Wii is going and how it truly is one of those game systems that one can play and actually stay active! As for the Wii Fit, I have yet to play it or experience it, but it does look very positive and something I would love to buy in the future! Some of the reviews online is pretty detailed and full of pictures, which I do like and I hope that the Wii Fit will actually help people stay more active in the future.
