I would have to say that my favorite OS right now would have to be Windows XP. I like Vista but its been nothing but problems for me on the current setup that I have. So until I have a machine that can completely handle running Vista and allow to me to use it effectively and appreciate it I’m going to have to stick with XP.

I like Windows XP but since I’m using Windows Vista, I’ll say Windows Vista. In my opinion, it did take some time getting use to it, but in the end, it’s fantastic and full of amazing and useful features. I love Windows! 😉

My favorite OS would have to be Mac OS. Leopard to be more specific.  But yeah in my opinion like I have said before Macs beat PCs butt when it comes to OS and graphics.

My favorite operating system is windows vista. I know not a lot of people like windows vista but i love some of the new features. I like the sidebar because i can listen to my XM radio without even going on the internet or see the weather in less than a second by glancing at my computer. The search option right on the start menu is great I can search for things really quick. I also like the appearance of windows vista, I think it looks a lot better than windows xp.

Slower than XP? The one you might’ve used had too little space or the cookie weren’t cleared.

no vista is slower than xp, it takes up a lot more ram and overall speed
so unless you have like 2g of ram itll be slower
i like vista, but i only have 512 so i can barely run it. eh, i think ill stick with linux anyway

Yes, that’s partly true.  But that’s why there are different versions of Vista, is not only to include more goodies but to make it run optimal speeds depending on your system specs. 😉  I’ll have to say that I haven’t used linux though.  Most servers i have used are run wtih Linux though, that must say something.

All things same Xp is faster than Vista, thats well known.
I myself will always use that os which is the best for gaming, beause its more intensive than work. One can work on anything but its not the same with games or for that matter high definition multimedia stuff.
