What is your dream Notebook? (Not including the HP HDX!)

So we all know that the HP HDX is a great “Notebook”, but besides that what Notebook would you say is the best one out there?  Which Notebook is your dream notebook?

I’ll start out by posting mine.  I would say that my favorite notebook is the MacBook Air!  I don’t really like Apple products or MAC, because I’m used to Windows.  I like this notebook because it’s really thin and lightweight!  I can really carry it around with me and use it to quickly accomplish my tasks anywhere I want.  If I frequently traveled around and worked a lot in an IT field, I would go with this notebook!  It is overpriced in my opinion though, so that’s why I’m staying away from it.  Until Apple significantly lowers the price (which won’t happen), I won’t purchase it. :D

Well, the HP HDX would be my first choice, but I’d say either the Sony VAIO Series or MacBook Pro. Both of them are great.

The Sony VAIO series is definitely great for college!  My sister has had one for two years and it still has no scratches.  It’s in perfect condition and gets all her work done.  Some of the Sony VAIO series do look like the Macbook Pro, but they don’t perform as good.

First choice is the dragon. Anyway that’s not allowed to answer so I will pick the HP 9x00 serie (17” notebooks with a Intel CPU)

@ ninxx:
Notebooks can’t have a 8800GT inside because it’s a desktop GPU and there is no mobile version of it. There is only a 8800M GTS and GTX.

I would have to go with the Sony VAIO series, no one can be rougher on things then my niece and her sony is still kicking! They also look pretty nice to.

my Dream notebook is the Lenovo U110 Ultra-Portable. it’s stylish design and compact size makes it a great notebook. add a few more powerful processor and videocard, i would be all over it.

Come on, it has to be the Dragon. 😉 Haha, my dream notebook is the HP Pavilion dv9700t series. I love HP and the HP Pavilion dv9700t series has caught my eye for a long time now. I have drooled over it and I love everything about it, the features, the specs, everything. My sister has a Dell notebook and I love Dell too, but if I had to pick one dream notebook, it would be that one.

Well since I can’t chose the Dragon I’d have to say that my dream notebook would be a customized HP Pavilion. I really like the HP Pavilion laptops and I don’t think I could use something else. I had a really nice Toshiba about a two years ago until I slipped on some ice and shattered the LCD and replaced it with the HP Pavilion dv9000 that I’m currently using. This thing takes a pretty good beating since I use it for school and take it everywhere not to mention my 2 year old daughter manages to get her hands on it every now and then and beats on it.

Besides the HP HDX Dragon thats in this contest… I really like my current Gateway C-140X tablet hybrid notebook.  People are always coming up to me and asking where I got it at!  And I managed to get $450 off the regular price making it cheaper than the school discount offered on the Dell notebook!
