There is a demo out there for Hellgate: London now.  I gave it a try and I though it was pretty cool.  Its no Diablo.  But it was a decent RPG.  Anyone else try it and have an opinion?

firstly is it worth the purchase?
Secondly how do you think it would run on a slower system
Thirdly is it a balanced classed system?

I am more into it as a single player game, so I never even considered class balance.  If I was going to pay a monthly sub, I would do that in a proper MMO.

Game looked good, played well too.  I am not sure what the system reqs are but it ran buttery smooth on my system at max settings (Intel Core Duo 2.4 GHz w/ 2 Gig RAM and a GeForce 8800).

I will probably buy this… eventually.

looks great
loads of varity in the character I can see
lots to keep you going for more, got the diablo adictiveness

cons
first person feels out of place.
there’s not all mouse control like diablo you use wasd to move about.
a summoner is basicly a renamed necromancer.

the beta server is down today, but I have monday tuesday off so I will give it a good run then.

seeing as I finish halo3, halflife 2 ep1 and ep2 and portal.
