Wow.  I’m glad because he actually deserves it.  That show made me laugh so hard I cried, several times.

Is that more than any other TV actor?  Well, he is keeping the network afloat.  Without Chappelle, and maybe South Park, there is no Comedy Central.

Hector, with all due respect (and I have respect for you after seeing you on these boards), Dave and South Park are not the only two things keeping Comedy Central afloat.

The Daily Show is one of the best shows on TV and its a huge ratings grabber for the network.  Reno 911 is one of the best shows I have ever seen. Also, with new shows like Crossballs, Dave Chappelle and South Park are getting a lot of help nowadays.

Is it more than any other tv actor, dunno, haven’t been keeping track, but its 2 13 ep. seasons, so thats almost 2 mil an episode. I wouldn’t complain.

Friends wasn’t actually that bad of a show…I suppose it depends on what age group you are in—The only reason I say this is that I am not too far off on the age range they were in on the show and I can recognize with some of it.

i’ll agree with you there in that Daily Show is really great.  Smart, edgy, hip, relevant, and funny.  It certainly is another feather in the cap for CC.  I wasn’t too entertained with the R911 episodes I’ve seen.

No love for Reno 911, what a shame.

I am a DIE HARD fan of the state so i guess it was natural progression.

Yeah, didn’t some of the cast members come from another show?  Was that it?

The State—> Viva Variety—> Wet Hot American Summer

The State was hands downt he greatest sketch comedy show of all time followed behind by (in order)

1. The State
2. Kids in the Hall
3. Almost Live (where Bill Nye the Science Guy got his start)
4. Apt. 2F
5. Saturday Night Live (only certain time periods)

I think SNL has been getting pretty good this past year.  :o   I know it sucked balls for the longest.   Now MadTV is like crap, since they lost all their good guys.  :(

And the worst thing is that Comedy Central lost the rights of Saturday Night Live to E! (and E! NEVER EVER plays it)

MAD TV is horrendous and an embarrasment.

It’s so funny because I showed my wife an episode she never saw tonight.  The one with Lil John himself talking with Chappelle’s version.

Skeet-skeet-skeet-skeet!  :D
