It’s funny because I have tapes but I don’t have a VCR

I have a VCR, and like 2 or 3 videos…rarely do I use it. Like…once or twice a year.

Oh I think I have mine hooked up. Just because I have plenty of open space in Entertainment center and connections on TV.  Oh and its a nice clock.

My wife does.  I refuse to allow a VCR to be connected to my home theater though.  Better suiter for the really small screen 😛

nope, never. The only thing I would maybe use it for would be to record a show since I don’t have a PVR but that hasn’t happened.

Have one, but I barely use it. (Not that I use my DVD player much more.) I use my computer for most of my entertainment, audio/visual, multimedia purposes.

Rarely.  If I need to record something I will use it but not for anything else.  (Those old home movies shouldn’t be watched anyway)

nope, just about everything is in dvd now. I can’t stand watching the vhs quality stuff anymore, haha. I’ll wait for the stuff to come out on dvd.

I GOT YALL BEAT! I doubt anyone on here has this one hooked up, ready? Sure? I don’t think you are…

BETA MAX! it phased out just as i started really getting into movies, and for the past several years they have become my obsession (and my chosen career path…only 18 though, so we’ll see how that pans out).

I do have the beta max player hooked up to my stereo, as well as the vhs. but…the videos are all tucked away in the closet under towels…the beta tapes are in a box somewhere (have about 200, including this asian spiderman movie…lol, and this karate video that i absolutely loved as a kid)...WHEN i get my free kodak dc i will take some pics, should be worth at least an awe inspired chuckle 😛

oh, anyone know where i can get dc’s fixed? i have this fujifilm finepix 3 mgpx one that has a 10x optical lens…but the lens was pushed in and dislodged. i tried to fix it, but then i think i accidentally loosened some impossibly small screw and now am afraid to touch it. im not asking for anything specific, but where should i start looking? can anyone point me in a good general direction?

I have a VCR buts its not hooked up and over the past year I’ve probably used it twice.  I’ve never like tapes (neither casette nor video) so I prefer everything on cd or dvd.

Caree path?  :?  That really is crazy, if you have 200 though.  Should I ask if you have any 8-tracks?

Contact fuji or look on there website, I’m sure you can find a list of repair places, although it may cost you a pretty penny to fix it.

I have one, and my Freshman year of college I brought it and it sat under my bed because I had a DVD player. Then one weekend someone came around looking for one, and i said i had one. I was the only guy on the whole floor to have a VCR, and it wasn’t even hooked up! Thats the only time in the last 3 years I have had to turn my VCR on.

I still love a good ol VHS movie… VHS is classic… last longer than a DVD if you are hard on them and don’t put the DVD back in it’s case.
