It was exciting. I heard the cheers all the way in Corpus Christi, TX. Right when they had won, we all started cheering in the condo, and all our friends and family called us telling us to listen to all the horns honking in the streets. People were cheering city-wide, it was great!! :D San Antonio is indeed awesome for unifying as a community 👏 I love bein’ a San Antonian!

I went to the parade/pep rally yesterday, and it was amazing! 8) Some highlights included:

Tony Parker rapping in French
Manu Ginobili giving his speech in Spanish ‘cause, well, no one else besides South Texas would know what he’s saying!! 😉

I was on KENS5, KSAT12, and Spurs.com!! :lol: Seriously! The event was being broadcast globally 👏
We even recorded the event on our TiVo or whatever it is, and you can clearly see one of the cameras focus on me and the poster I was holding, and ummm… I had a balloon too, and you could see that. They got maybe one good shot of me and about three shots of me within the crowd. It was so much fun!!
:| And yes, I saw that ho-bag. I think that’s the right spelling, at least, lol—actually, after the pep rally, we all went to the back of the Alamodome and watched them drive off. I stood merely 3 or 4 feet away from Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, and the ho-bag herself! Among others, of course 😊 |
