Which Mp3 player is your favorite out on the market so far?

Mine, hence the name, is definetly the H120 by Iriver.

I have tried out/borrowed others including Zen Xtra, Rio Nitrus and Karma, dell DJ (almost bought it untill I realized for 200$ you pretty much only get the player), and Ipod’s, and THE H120 is still my favorite.

So big, for so little price.  Great remote. Good battery life.  One of the best sound qualities.  Want me to keep going? 😛

The Touch looks great too, I may pick it up when it comes out.

Whaddabout you?

Good idea for a topic
Glad you made it here Dave
Hope you like it here and stay a while 😊

Mine, would have to be the ipod.  Not to go along with the majority of the US population, but just because of ease and sleekness.  I haven’t tried out some of the others (iriver’s) so I am somewhat impartial.
This may explain why I want the iskin so bad 😛

Hey Joe (Iriverfreak) you said you were going to sell your iriver to me if you got the touch right?

Is that deal still holding? 180$ for it?

Well, I don’t think so.  Sorry.

I know I said that, but I had a change of heart.

I can’t let such a glorious item go.  I might not even buy the touch.  I really don’t know as of yet…

I have this reaallllyyy old player (one of the frist HD players) called the Classic MPX.  It is 10GB and about 5 times thicker than the ipod, and wider and taller.  Works fine though! Just not very portable…

I, sadly, have no experience using any…

I know, I’m out of the times.

^^ You must get one.

Preferabbly the H120 by Iriver

It’s so great to just plop on your whole library of songs, and listen to them whenever you want!

What do you like, or not like about the Creative labs Nomad?  I am looking at a 30gb at best buy for $230.  I am seriously considering it, so any insight into it would be greatly appreciated.  I have a couple of best buy gift cards so if there are any others in that price range from there that anyone would reccommend I would appreciate it!!

Thanks

One other question, I know your not supposed to jog with hd type players.  But do you think the vibration from using on a riding lawn mower would affect this at all?

Hola,

I have a rio nitrus, and it’s tiny size has been perfect for trips to the gym.  Although I was dissapointed in only 1.5gb of hd space, having USB 2.0 makes removing and adding mp3s very fast.  Hopefully I will have myself a 20gb ipod by the time this month is over, but if not, I will still be very happy with my nitrus.

I personally don’t own one yet (I can’t afford one) but I’d have to say the Creative Nomad Zen Xtra.  Long name I know.  My reasons for this are that 1. you can get a 40 gig nomad for less than a 20 gig ipod. and 2. It has outstanding sound quality.

This topic has been really useful… I’m planning to buy an mp3 HD player soon, and I really want to get an iRiver because of its features, sound quality, and the good reviews I have read about it. Based on what I’ve read alone, it seems to be the best mp3 player out there overall, based on sound, music file compatibility, etc. I really wanted in iPod before, but I’ve been deterred from buying one because it does not play .wma files, which are a lot of the songs I have (from ripping onto the comp). Anyhow, thanks for the comments everyone. 😊

I think my fav mp3 player so far is probably the ipod.  It’s slick, looks expensive (lol) and works great!  Also the integration with itunes and ease of use makes me want it even more!

I have a creative nomad jukebox 2 (pretty huge-cd player size).  SOund quality is great.  I also have an Archos Jukebox Recorder 20.  It records from a mic, line in, or digital in/out.  Hence the name Jukebox Recorder.  Also it has Rockbox which is awesome.  I would love to have the zen touch though. (and a free iPod would be nice.)
