What is a good software that reminds you something on a set date and time. Like it will make a sound or something, and show the reminder that you typed?

I kinda like that rainlender thing but its kinda too much.
I just want a software that stays in the bar next to the clock and you can type a messaqge and have the message display at a specified time and date and/or play a sound.

Not sure what it’s called, but I got an app once that addes the Longhorn like bar on the right and inlucded a feature that is exactly what you typed up about.

do they have a mac version? My friend uses this and loves this program.
