Tori SpellingTori Spelling hasn't bought a purse in three years.

The 40-year-old actress - who has four children, Liam, six, Stella, five, Hattie, two, and Finn, 14 months, with her husband Dean McDermott - admits her money problems have got so bad that she hasn't been able to treat herself like she used to do when she was younger, but she's learned cash isn't the most important thing.

"I haven't bought a purse in three years. And it's fine. I look back on that girl who shopped at Gucci in my 20s and I can't even relate. I can't believe I thought it was important," she said, peaking to People magazine.

The former 'Beverly Hills 90210' star - who is currently renting a modest home in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles - reportedly inherited $800,000 from her TV producer father, Aaron Spelling, who died in 2006, but she blames her childhood for her lack of money awareness. Writing in her new memoir, Spelling It Like It Is, she said, "It's no mystery why I have money problems. I grew up rich beyond anyone's dreams. I never knew anything else. Even when I try to embrace a simpler lifestyle I can't seem to let go of my expensive tastes. And then there's my shopping problem. I've bought ridiculous amounts of stuff for the kids, clothing, toys, crafts."

Melissa McCarthy on the cover of 'ELLE'

Upon the unveiling of Melissa McCarthy's ELLE cover - of which she shares newsstands with other covers featuring Reese Witherspoon and Penelope Cruz for the magazine's Women in Hollywood theme - fans were appalled to see the funny woman covered up in a coat. While thinner stars are styled in much less clothing, it seemed unfair to cover up a woman of a bigger size like McCarthy.

With that said, McCarthy broke her silence on the issue and revealed that sporting the coat was her choice after all: "What I found so bizarre is I picked the coat. I grabbed the coat. I covered up. I had a great black dress on but I thought, it comes out in November... I was so sick of summer. I live in Southern California. I was like, 'Give me a big coat to wear. Give the girl some cashmere!' I picked the coat. They were like, 'The dress is really great,' but I was like, 'Yeah, but look at this.'"

Jennifer LopezJennifer Lopez says she was slated for having curves in her early career.

The "On the Floor" singer has become renowned for her shapely bottom, but she claims she was told to make changes to her body when she first ventured into television as an actress on American 90s sitcom In Living Color. In an interview for the winter issue of Cosmopolitan Latinas magazine, she recalled, "When I first started on television, people, and even my own manager at the time, would tell me I had to make all of these changes. But you have to stand up and say, 'There's nothing wrong with me or my shape or who I am, you're the one with the problem!' And when you can really believe that, all of a sudden other people start believing too."

RihannaRihanna was asked to leave a mosque after an "improper" photoshoot.

The "Stay" hitmaker was kicked out of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi after posing for photographs, which "did not comply with the terms and conditions" of the place of worship, and without obtaining permission. A statement from the Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque, published today in local Abu Dhabi newspapers said, "In the event of behavior that violates the moral codes of access to the mosque, or other visit regulations - such as taking inappropriate pictures, posing in ways that are improper in the context of sacred place, talking loudly, or eating - the violators are directed in a polite manner that reflects the civilisational and tolerant attributes of Islam. Here, the Center refers to a recent incident, involving a singer who came for a private visit to the mosque, at a gate that is not reserved for visitors, without prior coordination with the Center's management and without identifying herself."

The 25-year-old singer posted a number of snapshots on her Instagram account, which saw her dressed head-to-toe in black with bright red lips and matching nails, but fans have since hit out at the star for her "disrespectful" actions.

Kate UptonKate Upton was told she was "too American" to be a model.

The curvy beauty - who is now one of the most recognizable pin-ups in the world - was outraged when she was initially rejected from a major agency who assumed she would be too ''lazy'' because of her nationality.

"I'm not going to name names, but one agency told me, 'You're too American, and everybody knows American women are lazy.' I was so offended! I've never been so offended! I was like, 'You know that you're in America, right?' And it wasn't 'American models - it was 'American women are lazy,' period! I feel like a lot of women would disagree with that. A lot!" she revealed.

Kate, 21, headed straight to International Management Group - which is home to supermodels Kate Moss, Gisele Bundchen and Karlie Kloss - after the shocking rejection, and was signed on the spot.

Eva HerzigovaEva Herzigova admits she was "unbearable" to work with at the height of her fame as a supermodel.

The 40-year-old Czech beauty has confessed she was "irritable" and would throw tantrums on shoots as well as display other unpleasant behavior when she was known across the world for her famous "Hello Boys" Wonderbra campaign in the mid-90s.

But Eva insists the only reason she acted like a diva was because she was overworked: "I was unbearable at one point and probably difficult to work with, but it was to do with exhaustion, trying to do too much. Going constantly from one plane to the next, from a fashion show to a photo shoot in a different time zone didn't help matters. I was irritable and had tantrums."

Eva admits to ''losing'' a sense of herself at that time, but maintains she avoided many of the pitfalls of fame and the fashion industry such as drugs. "Losing myself, yes; going off the rails and taking drugs, no. My education has given me a strong will to resist temptations like drugs. They make you feel like the person that you want to be. But it's just an illusion. I used to see people get off their faces, and I was never interested," she explained.
