We can now add famed French Vogue Editor-in-Chief Carine Rotfeld to the growing list of pantsless followers.
As much as I love Carine, the coat and boots are a little much. I know that it’s deathly freezing in New York City, but sometimes there are sacrifices one must make (she ought to take cues from Lady Gaga, who ditched more clothes in London for the sake of a lace bodysuit!).
When I look at the outfit, I feel like she’s trying to fit all of this season’s trends into one look, and it’s not panning out as well as she imagined it—can she redeem herself after this?

Lady Gaga Finally Appears in US Vogue

After appearing in Japanese, British, and French Vogue, Lady Gaga finally lands an editorial in the famed US edition, shot by photographer Annie Leibovitz.
In the images, Gaga depicts a nuanced witch in a more fashionable retelling of the old Hansel (Andrew Garfield) and Gretel (Lily Cole) tale, complete with Nina Ricci heels and Marc Jacobs satin shorts.

Twilight Star Goes Naked for PETA

And to think, Taylor Lautner was getting tired of being shirtless.
Christian Serratos might not be one of the big names from the Twilight series, but she’s going to be a lot more memorable now. (Maybe that was her point.)
The actress, who plays Angela in the adaptations, is just one of many stars who have stripped down for PETA’s famous “Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign. Other celebrities who have contributed their bodies to the cause include Karina Smirnoff, Steve-O, Khloe Kardashian and Joanna Krupa.

reading the message on the ad, here it is: “Animals killed for their fur are electrocuted, drowned, beaten and often skinned alive. Please don’t wear fur.”

Gemma Ward Walks Away From Modeling

While the news isn’t necessarily a shock due to her absence from the runways and ad campaigns, model Gemma Ward has officially announced via her agency that she is to quit modeling.
“Gemma hasn’t committed to returning to modeling at any time soon,” a spokeswoman said.
The announcement comes after photos of the model/actress having gained a few sizes appeared online, accumulating a mixed slew of supportive and awful comments from readers. Many speculate that her weight gain and departure are due to the death of Heath Ledger, whom she was romantically linked to shortly before that January day.
I find it sad that for Ward, a model who was constantly attacked early in her career for being too skinny, is now under fire for being too heavy! It’s not as if she’s doing any modeling work; even if she did, who cares if someone decides to hire a model of a more average dress size?
She ought to go back to acting, in my opinion. She creeped me out as Dollface in The Strangers and has garnered plenty of positive criticism for her role in The Black Balloon.

Victoria Beckham Takes on Modeling World

After having finally been accepted into the fashion industry with her successful collection, Victoria Beckham is already moving on to grander ventures: the modeling world.
Rumor has it that the former Spice Girl is in talks with her manager Simon Fuller, who has half of the controlling stake in London-based Storm Models, to open up a modeling agency based in New York City (from London to L.A. to New York City, Victoria seems to have homes all over the globe!).
“Simon knows that Victoria is very savvy when it comes to fashion. Simon’s first foray into fashion was to team up Roland Mouret and Victoria, which was a huge success. Victoria is a key asset to Simon and he wants her to take on a major role,” an insider said.
Thus, Victoria’s path to world domination slowly begins.

Georgia Jagger and Her Golden Smile

Fresh-faced Georgia Jagger is proud of her gapped-tooth smile.
The 17-year-old model, daughter of Rolling Stones legend Sir Mick Jagger and supermodel Jerry Hall, doesn’t want to undergo dental procedures to have her teeth corrected as she thinks it gives her a unique look.
“I think my gap adds character. A while ago on the street, a guy yelled, ‘You could stick a gold through your front teeth.’ Which meant I could put a £1 coin between them. But you can’t, I’ve tried. 50 pence coins and two pence coins, yes. But not a pound.”
Georgia also revealed her famous father used to tell her off for wearing wearing make-up before she became a teenager. The blonde star, who is the face of Hudson Jeans and Rimmel London, said, ” We have a snap of my dad wearing blue eye shadow. which I would always make fun of. When I was about 12 and first started wearing lipstick, my dad would ask ‘Are you wearing make-up?’ I would say back, ‘You’re wearing more make-up there than I am!’”

Natalie Portman Talks Plastic Surgery

Does Natalie Portman ever look bad? I didn’t think so, but someone at V magazine felt compelled enough to ask the actress how she feels about plastic surgery.
“I would hope not,” she responds, when questioned whether she would submit to what seems to be a Hollywood standard these days. She does, however, admit to thinking about approaching 40 (despite having over a decade until she reaches that hill): “You see people who were stars five years ago and already they’re waning. As actresses approach 40, it starts becoming really, really difficult.”
Photographer Mario Testino shot the images, which recall an androgynous look for the woman who still looked hot without her hair. In the images (seen after the jump), Portman evokes Lady Gaga’s pantsless trend in one and rocks a bustier with some major shoulder bling in another.

Heidi Klum to Host, Not Walk

Supermodel Heidi Klum will host this year’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
The model mum, who gave birth to fourth child Lou Sulola Samuel three weeks ago, has always modeled at the annual show, but decided that her body isn’t ready to hit the catwalk.
Organizers were so keen to keep the German beauty—who famously once wore a million-dollar bra at the show—involved she will now be hosting instead, with the Black Eyed Peas lined up to play a set. The show returns to New York for the first time since 2005 and will be filmed this month before airing on CBS in December.
Heidi had previously said she was worried she might not get back into shape fast enough and would be devastated if she couldn’t take part in the show. In August, she said, “The last time I gave birth, I had two months, and I don’t know if I have that much time this time. It was pushing it the last time. But if I don’t make it, I’m sure I’ll be very sad.”
The 36-year-old model already has sons Henry, four, and two-year-old Johan with husband Seal, and five-year-old daughter Leni from a previous relationship.
