Karl Lagerfeld’s Opinions on Paris Fashion Week

Karl Lagerfeld

thinks only “impressive” shows should be staged at Paris Fashion Week.

The legendary designer - who showed his eponymous label’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection at the event as well as that of Chanel, where he is creative director - claims uninspiring shows have no place at the French capital’s event.

In an interview with singer for Elle.com, Karl said: “I think there are great people and collections here, like Lanvin. There has to be exciting people and exciting shows here or else it all falls flat.”
