Lindsay Lohan Becomes Face of Jag Jeans

Lindsay Lohan has become the new face of Jag Jeans. The actress - who recently posed naked for Playboy magazine - recently shot a campaign for the denim brand and impressed bosses with her professionalism.
"As Jag Jeans' newest endorser, Lindsay embodies the strength and fearlessness of the woman of today. She is unafraid to be who she is. She is fierce yet exudes feminine grace," a press release read. "Lindsay was so involved with the shoot that she would go as far as adjusting items on the set. She even requested scissors so she could personally fray the edges of her black crepe blouse because she believed it would look better that way. Lindsay would take a hands-on approach to her shots, as she was more than willing to change her hairstyle during mid-shoot and even used her own personal jewelry and accessories when needed."

Naomi Campbell Turns to Designing
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Fashion Designers, Models, Rumors,
Taking a break from the runway, Naomi Campbell has reportedly designed a line of jeans for Fiorucci.
The British supermodel is set to show her debut collection for the Italian denim wear label at Milan Men's Fashion Week - which is currently underway - although it has not been announced on event schedules.
While denim wear is thought to be an unusual choice for Naomi, 41, as she hardly ever wears jeans, she was spotted in denim at the recent Cannes Film Festival in May. However, on the rare occasions Naomi does decide to wear jeans, she usually relies on her close designer pal Victoria Beckham to get her out of a style rut.
"Victoria is amazing, a real sister. When I'm stuck in a rut, she's always at the other end of the phone to send a pair of jeans. They work wonders on the legs. I love her designs. I'm always in them. I've worked with Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and so many great designers. So I'm proud Victoria is up there too."
Fiorucci enjoyed huge success in the 70s and 80s and is now owned by Italian fashion giant Ittierre after financial and legal issues in the 90s.

—The late and fashionably great muse and icon Isabella Blow apparently commissioned her own memorial sculpted by artists Tim Noble and Sue Webster. It’s also worthy to note that the piece is constructed of dead animals, her lipstick, and one of her shoes.
—Since Lindsay is busy with her legal woes, little sister Ali Lohan has filled in for her, modeling the 6126 Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Naturally, she looks rather awkward in the shots.
—Famed shoe designer Manolo Blahnik claims that his shoes saves marriages. If only every couple could afford a pair of them.
—The ever-so-classy Kate Moss stepped out recently in a multi-colored fur jacket and some leather mini pants. Of course, her black top was sheer and revealed her dislike of bras.
Dita Von Teese Keeping Skin Tattoo-Free
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities,
Dita Von Teese has declared that she will never have a tattoo. Although Marilyn Manson’s ex-wife is a fan of skin etchings, she has no desire to have a permanent design herself.
“I like tattoos, but I know when and how to appreciate something without needing it for myself, and that goes for more than just tattoos!” she wrote on Twitter.
The 37-year-old star, who is famous for her vintage-inspired wardrobe and glamorous look, has also revealed that she isn’t a fan of comfort clothes.
“I do relax; I just don’t relax by wearing jeans and sweatpants,” she told Las Vegas Weekly. “I have lots of robes and pajamas, and usually if you dropped in on me, I don’t wear a full face of makeup… But it’s not like I come home and go, ‘Wow, I really wish I had some sweatpants to put on right now.’ I don’t relate that to comfort. I’d rather put on a cashmere robe.”

Vivienne Westwood is creating a denim line!
The legendary fashion designer will collaborate with Lee to release The Vivienne Westwood Anglomania and Lee collection next autumn through Vivienne Westwood boutiques and selected retailers. According to reports, the collection will include superskinny jeans, microshorts and bondage jeans in a range of washes from indigo denim to metallic gold- and copper-colored denim.
Carlo D’Amario, the managing director of Vivienne Westwood, told WWD, “It is very important for us to work with a denim brand like Lee with such a strong heritage.”
The collection will retail from $128 to $320. Meanwhile, the designer is delighted with the results of her wallpaper collaboration with Cole & Son, which features iconic prints and patterns she has used throughout her career.
“It is good when my ideas get carried over into other artistic media. This collection is a perfect opportunity to be able to work with a heritage company like Cole & Son and to see my ideas from fashion translated into the world of interiors and wallpaper.” The wallpaper is available from Liberty, John Lewis and Heal’s.
Zac Efron Works His Jeans
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Celebrities, Jeans,
Some stars will pay big bucks for a new pair of worn-in jeans. Others will achieve that distressed look the hard way.
According to Zac Efron, his days during HSM 3 were spent multi-tasking. For eight straight weeks, the actor sported the exact same pair of G-Star jeans.
“I wore them all throughout High School Musical 3,” he admitted to WWD. “I even wore them hiking. You have to wear them everywhere to get them right.”
After two months of battering, Efron’s goal was eventually accomplished: the denim lost its stiffness and starting exposing “yellow whiskers.”
Let’s just hope that pair was washed at some point.

In Love With My Seven7 Bootcut Jeans
On the advice of my husband, I decided to order some jeans for myself from Dr. Jays, not something I would normally do because being someone of short stature and I would say a full-figured woman, it is hard, if not impossible to find a pair of jeans that fit all parts of my lower body the way they should. Either I get jeans that are a little loose in the waist and 5 inches too long, or muffin top jeans that are loose everywhere else.
I chose to order a pair of Seven7 Bootcut Jeans, a brand I don’t usually wear, as I had the preconceived notion that they would only fit skinny-minis that are a size 4 or below. I don’t think I have ever fit into that category, so it was to my surprise and delight when I came upon a pair that I thought might work for me. Seven7 jeans are a top-of-the-line brand so I expected the price to be 3x the price that was listed. At $41.99/pr. you can afford to get two! I went with one pair to try out the size. When I received them two days later, they looked great out of the package, with the back pockets embellished by a glossy bead looped design, not too showy, just adds a little pizazz. These jeans are low rise and boot-cut, great for me since I have a short waist and legs. Flared leg jeans on a short woman is not too flattering, so these were just perfect.
They fit true to its size, not so snug that I can’t breathe but enough to show off the assets I do have, while the little bit of stretch in the jeans allow for ease of movement and ultra comfort. The only down-side is that they are about 3 inches too long so I will have to pay to get them hemmed, but at $41.99, I don’t mind one bit.
