Sarah Jessica Parker Has No Style Rules

Sarah Jessica ParkerSarah Jessica Parker has no fashion rules.

The former Sex and the City actress insists she doesn't worry about people dismissing her outfits as a "disaster" as she is only concerned with having fun with fashion.

"I think pulling it off or not pulling it off, that almost doesn't exist for me, because I'm looking for experiences, not some report card. I do love fantasy, color and the idea of no rules ... So you choose a dress people think is a disaster. In the end, who cares?"

The 48-year-old star - who has son James, 11, and twin daughters Marion and Tabitha, three, with husband Matthew Broderick - has teamed up with US retailer Nordstrom for her debut shoe collection, SJP, and says all the designs are for footwear she would want to have herself. Speaking to the new edition of InStyle magazine, she said, "If I'm going to ask people for their hard-earned dollars, I'd better be making shoes I want to wear. My real dream was a smaller line, my name, built in Europe, at a reasonable price point."

Demi Lovato Wants Plastic Surgery?

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Health & Beauty,

Demi LovatoDemi Lovato has hinted she would consider going under the knife.

The "Heart Attack" hitmaker admitted she isn't particularly happy with the size of her cleavage and should get breast implants. When asked to name a celebrity who she thinks needs plastic surgery, the 21-year-old star told Y100 radio station before the Jingle Ball in Miami, Florida on Friday, "It should be me! I should get a boob job. They're like mosquito bites."

Demi, who will not be returning to the judging panel of The X Factor USA next year after two seasons on the show, previously revealed she wants to be healthier in 2014 after learning to love herself for who she really is: "It is so important to me [to take time off]. I think we might do a few things here and there that I've committed to already or that I'm passionate about. When I work so much, I don't get a lot of sleep and I think I really want to get really fit and in shape and just get really healthy. I want to be rested mentally and spiritually - I think it's a month to re-charge and I would love to have more than that but I've decided to go on tour as well."

Heidi Klum Quits Lingerie Modeling

Heidi KlumHeidi Klum has given up lingerie modeling.

The 40-year-old supermodel says she would no longer feel "comfortable" on a catwalk wearing only a bra and briefs: "I wouldn't model with my underwear down the runway anymore. I think I would find it a little uncomfortable, maybe. I still do photoshoots for [magazine] covers and different things or advertising stuff."

The mother of four - who split from her husband, singer Seal, in 2012 and his now in a relationship with her former bodyguard Martin Kristen - also said she is happy to get older and embrace the lines of age rather than have surgery. "I wouldn't say that I love [my crow's feet], but that's just the way it happens, right? We get wrinkles from smiling. I've never had any [cosmetic procedures]. I've been too scared, to be honest with you. I'm scared that all of a sudden you're changing too much, your face starts changing, I don't know. I would have a hard time looking in the mirror and seeing something that I'm not used to seeing. I'd be afraid," she said.

Kanye West Calls for Boycott on Louis Vuitton

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, News,

Kanye WestKanye West is trying to get New York City to boycott Louis Vuitton.

The "Bound 2" rapper is disgruntled with the French fashion house's head, Yves Carcelle, after he refused to meet him when he was in Paris, and he is planning to teach him a lesson by publicly telling the people of New York City to stop buying his company's products.

"I wanted to meet with [Yves] in Paris. He said 'I don't understand why we need to meet with you?' I said, let me explain to you why you need to meet with me - or [to] the head of Gucci - let me explain why you need to meet with me. Everybody in New York City right now, don't buy any Louis Vuitton until after January. Now do you want to meet with me? Now do you want to meet with me? Influence. They think that I don't realize my power," he said, speaking on New York's 92.3 NOW radio station.

Whether the people of New York heed Kanye's demands is yet to be seen.

Jennifer Lawrence Hated How She Looked in Couture Dior Gown

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, Health & Beauty, News,

Jennifer LawrenceYes, you sadly read that title correctly: Jennifer Lawrence has come out and said that what was probably her best The Hunger Games: Catching Fire red carpet look was not her favorite!

"I think any time a girl has to show her thighs it's never going to be her favorite look," she said on Good Morning America.

Although I usually eat up Lawrence's quotes, I'm still reeling from this one, considering she looked nothing but breathtaking and badass all at the same time in her Dior Haute Couture gown. Perhaps because she took a moment to realize that the dress was amazing, as she quickly clarified: "I loved it, I loved the dress -- if someone else wore it. It's hard for any woman to look at a picture of herself and [like it]."

Oh say it isn't so - our great defender of body positivity has let societal body pressures get to her when it came to this particular red carpet look. Let's hope she realizes that she's beautiful no matter what her thighs are and that she can definitely pull any gorgeous frock off with her adorable pixie cut!

Isaac Mizrahi: Too-Skinny Models Are a Problem of the Past

Isaac MizrahiFashion designer Isaac Mizrahi believes that models' body issues are a thing of the past.

Despite three fashion models dying in the past six years from eating disorders and some still coming out these days saying that they're recovering from eating disorders, Mizrahi claims that such issues are no longer problems in today's industry:

"I don't notice girls anymore in the majority who are sickly-looking. Even if they're tall and thin now, they look healthier to me. Not fat, not fatter, but they just look healthier. I mean this -- there was a moment when there was this whole heroin chic thing and it just looked terrible. It just looked terrible! And now everyone points at it and goes, 'Oh dear, that's terrible.' And the girls are encouraged to be thin, but I don't think they're encouraged to look like drug addicts anymore. I mean, I'm sure there are some designers who like the girls to look like drug addicts, but not on the whole the way it was for a good 10 years -- like, in the middle of the '90s to around 2002 or so. There was that thing going on, and it was sickening, absolutely sickening. I don't think it exists anymore."

Kate Hudson “Can’t Afford” Designer Clothes

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers,

Kate Hudson on Harper's BazaarKate Hudson claims she "can't afford" designer clothes.

The Bride Wars actress - who has nine-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and two-year-old son Bingham with fiance Matt Bellamy - insists she has to borrow the high-end gowns she wears for the red carpet because they are too pricey for her budget.

"People think we own all these dresses. But we borrow them! I can't afford to buy that stuff. There are certain things I splurge on, but it's very rare, especially when you have two kids and school tuition. I'm not a big high-end fashion shopper. I wish I could but the truth is things are just so expensive. Before Isabel Marant was a million dollars and famous, I used to go to her store in Paris and go crazy, it was so affordable," she told Harper's Bazaar.

The 34-year-old beauty - who is worth a reported $38 million - credits her mother, Goldie Hawn, with her frugal ways: "My mom wasn't a big shopper for us. I think they wanted to instill that in us even though we grew up in a really privileged and lucky lifestyle."

Naomi Campbell Breaks Down About Anger Management

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Models, News,

Naomi CampbellNaomi Campbell broke down in tears while talking about her anger management issues.

The supermodel got emotional while filming her appearance on UK TV's The Jonathan Ross Show when she talked about how anger management classes saved her life. The 43-year-old star - who has previously been arrested for throwing mobile phones at her staff - said, "I made anger management serious. Anger is an emotion. There were things I had to deal with. You have to deal with it." As she teared up, she added, "I'm crying, you made me cry!"

But host Jonathan replied, "Oh f**k off, no I didn't!"

Naomi also opened up about her previous drug use - which included being addicted to cocaine for five years - saying she realized she had to quit because it was ruining her life. "I don't want to go back. No matter what it is that you're addicted to - you can be addicted to work - all it is, is an escapism. It's escaping something, no matter what. For me, I came to my realization at 29 that I didn't like myself the way I was, and that was it. Every day is a new day - I'm no perfect human being. I'm just living and I'm just breathing," she added.

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Health & Beauty,

Jennifer LopezJennifer Lopez says she was slated for having curves in her early career.

The "On the Floor" singer has become renowned for her shapely bottom, but she claims she was told to make changes to her body when she first ventured into television as an actress on American 90s sitcom In Living Color. In an interview for the winter issue of Cosmopolitan Latinas magazine, she recalled, "When I first started on television, people, and even my own manager at the time, would tell me I had to make all of these changes. But you have to stand up and say, 'There's nothing wrong with me or my shape or who I am, you're the one with the problem!' And when you can really believe that, all of a sudden other people start believing too."
