Kate Hudson has been named the new face of Ann Taylor. The actress will front the Spring 2012 campaign for the women's clothing line - taking over from Demi Moore - and is thrilled to have been chosen, as she has always admired the "sophisticated" brand.
"As a young girl, I looked up to the sophisticated style of Ann Taylor. So it's been very cool to see how the brand has evolved to meet the changing needs of modern women."
The campaign will see Kate wearing the label's designs in print, outdoor and online adverts with the photographs taken by Tom Munro.

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore on Strict Maple Syrup Diet

Ashton Kutcher and his wife Demi Moore have started a strict detox plan.
The 47-year-old actress and her 32-year-old spouse embarked on the Master Cleanse diet on Saturday, but Ashton has admitted he’s already finding it hard.
“9 hrs into the master cleanse. I want a steak, a beer, and a blow-pop. Hmmm this is gonna be rough (sic),” he wrote on his Twitter.
The plan, which is also known as the Maple Syrup diet, involves consuming nothing but a concoction of water, lemon, maple syrup and cayenne pepper and was famously used by Beyonce to slim down for her role in Dreamgirls.
While Ashton is struggling, Demi is faring slightly better: “2nd day of master cleanse and off to hike with hubby and the dogs. 2nd day better than the 1st! (sic).”

Beyonce Wants Posh Designs

An R&B artist desires some girl power: Beyonce wants Victoria Beckham to design her tour outfits.
The sexy singer is a huge admirer of the former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer’s collections and is keen for her to create some stunning outfits for her next series of concerts.
“Beyonce is a big fan of Victoria’s work, and was given a couple of samples from the new collection. Victoria was hugely flattered and has agreed, in principle, to suggest some designs. While Beyonce already has the sunglasses and a few dresses, it is Victoria’s more elegant full-length designs that she particularly loves as they are a real departure from her usual glitzy stage costumes. This collaboration could be the start of something big.”
Victoria’s designs have become a huge hit with celebrities with Demi Moore, Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz and Heidi Klum all donning some of her creations. Demi wore a strapless, floor-length royal blue dress from Victoria’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection at the pre-Oscars Hollywood Domino party and couldn’t help but gush about Victoria’s handiwork: “I always feel so comfortable and Victoria’s designs fit so well. They’re just stylish through and through.”

Just when the talk of Demi Moore’s questionable W cover died down, someone out in the internet makes a discovery that brings everything back into the spotlight.
This time, bloggers are pointing to Balmain’s runway model, Anja Rubik, stating that W photo editors swapped Demi’s torso entirely in favor of Rubik’s! Both women (supposedly) wore the Balmain swimsuit with a wrap; however, placing the W cover over the catwalk photo (above) says that perhaps only one of them truly donned the look.

Demi Moore Denies Photoshop Claims

Demi Moore has admitted that she’s become really “skinny” in recent months.
The actress was defending her new body shape after it was claimed it had been airbrushed on the front cover of W magazine to make her appear smaller than she really is.
But the Ghost beauty insists she didn’t receive any digital help and says her hips looked slim, because they are slim.
She wrote on her Twitter, “I don’t have any hips. I love the pic and can only say I wish I had good lighting like that following me around all day. My hips were not touched don’t let these people bulls**t you. I am on the skinny side lately (sic).”
A spokesman for the magazine told Jezebel.com the photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott “did not do anything unusual or out of the ordinary on Demi Moore for the photo on the cover of W. Demi is an extraordinary beautiful woman and we feel our cover reflects that.”

Perfume campaigns are still all the rage (just ask Hayden Christensen, Enrique Iglesias, and Justin Timberlake!), and Demi Moore is hopping right onto that trend, fronting the ad campaign for Helena Rubinstein’s latest fragrance.
While she doesn’t necessary fit the title of the alluring perfume, “All You’ve Ever Wanted” (I mean, ever since she got hitched, does anyone care?), Moore fits perfectly in the photo. Well, if you don’t count that awkward arm holding the bottle. And who’s that weird guy by her neck? Where’s Ashton!

Demi Moore Admits to Having Stretch Marks

Believe it or not, Demi Moore has “excess skin and stretch marks.”
The 46-year-old actress, who has been slammed for denying having cosmetic surgery, has hit back at her critics and insists her body has changed since she became a mother.
Demi, who has three daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis, took to the internet to address the comments she reportedly made during an interview with France’s Marie Claire magazine.
Referring to an old photograph that shows the Hollywood beauty sporting stretch marks, Demi wrote on her Twitter account yesterday, “I still have excess skin and stretch marks!”
She added, “Ahh hate to break it to you but I do. Comes with having a few kids 4 some of us! All this garbage that came out today about me is nothing more than an effort to diminish not just me but all women (sic).”
Demi also used her internet blog to urge her female fans to refuse to conform to ideals about their appearance and be proud of their bodies: “Diminishing us by continually measuring women based on how we look. Or dont look. Creating comparisons instead of connections Say no 2 that (sic)!”

Prepare to be simultaneously perturbed and envious: Demi Moore has denied having cosmetic surgery.
The 46-year-old actress, who was rumored to have undergone $323,258 worth of operations, insists she has never gone under the surgeon’s knife, but admits she understands why it appeals to some women.
Demi, whose svelte appearance in 2003 movie Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle sparked surgery rumors, said: “It’s completely false—I’ve never had it done, but I would never judge those who have. If it’s the best thing for them, then I don’t see a problem. On the other hand, I don’t like the idea of having an operation to hold up the aging process—it’s a way to combat your neurosis. The scalpel won’t make you happy.”
Demi, who celebrates her 47th birthday in November, admits her views might change as her body begins to alter. She told France’s Marie Claire, “That said, the day when I start crying when I look at myself in the mirror might be the day when I’m less adamant about not having it done. For the moment I prefer to be a beautiful woman of my age than try desperately to look 30.”

Madonna, Eva Longoria, others donate handbags for earthquake relief auction

Handbags belonging to Madonna, Eva Longoria and Dita Von Teese are being auctioned on eBay. The stars donated their favourite bags to help raise money for victims of April’s earthquake in L’Aquila, Italy.
‘Entourage’ stars Adrian Grenier and Debi Mazar hosted a glamorous cocktail party at the LA Salvatore Ferragamo boutique to kick off the sale, where celebrities including John Legend, Rosanna Arquette, Rose McGowan and Melissa George got to view the articles listed in the sale. Stars were also be able to purchase clothing and accessories from the label’s Spring/Summer range, with a portion of the evening’s takings being donated to GlobalGiving’s Italy Earthquake Relief and Recovery Fund.
