Jimmy Choo for UGGLeave it to to flaunt the fact that she gets all the designer pieces months before us common folk can even admire them in a store. This time, she’s showing off her Jimmy Choo for UGG footwear, which isn’t supposed to hit stores until October.

“Love my new Jimmy Choo Uggs!” she wrote on her .

For once, the pair of boots are one item that are most likely not going to be envied by many. After all, they do resemble something one would find in the children’s shoe aisle of K-Mart. No matter how talented and beloved the designer (nor how comfortable the footwear is, either!), there’s really no beautifying a pair of UGGs.

Even still, Jimmy Choos are Jimmy Choos—people will still want to snatch up a pair of these hideous boots for $1,000 if it bears the designer’s name.

Stacey Solomon in new season's Ugg boots

The impossible has been done: UGG boots got uglier. I didn’t think it feasible until I found this picture of X Factor contestant Stacey Solomon, who stepped out in this season’s new UGG boots.

Not only are the boots monochrome striped (Beetlejuice, anyone?), but they are knitted! I refuse to accept the “They’re comfortable” excuse—there’s absolutely no reason to be caught wearing these in public, especially if they look like winter socks.

Dsquared Spring/Summer '10While Jeremy Scott looked to the Flintstones for his Spring/Summer ‘10 collection, Dsquared looked to camping.

Designers Dean and Dan Caten even injected the topic into the set of their show at Milan Fashion Week, with curtains drawing to reveal a woodland scene with tents and mirrors resting on trees.

The clothes included cut-off shorts, T-shirts, and jean jackets teamed with vertiginous platform shoes. In case of bad weather, models were given full-length clear plastic macs with neon trims, worn over eye-popping bikinis. Caps were also a big look, with a purple evening gown accessorised with the headgear and a bottle of Budweiser beer.

Men were also catered for at the show, with the twin designers—who recently designed costumes for Britney Spears‘s Circus tour, and have previously dressed Justin Timberlake, Madonna and Lenny Kravitz—dressing them in gardening gloves and leggings teamed with walking boots. More wearable were the suit jacket, shirt and skinny tie combination.

Jimmy Choo for H&M

Slowly but surely, more pictures of the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection emerge online, and to be frank, aside from the shoes, I’m not too impressed.

The suede and animal prints are a bit on the tacky side; as for the clothes, I could find the same pieces for most likely less than half the price at Forever 21. The sandals, over-the-knees boots, and men’s footwear, however, are killer.

Check out all 20 images after the jump.

Rachel Zoe loves her shoesRachel Zoe has “too many shoes.”

The celebrity stylist, who has worked with Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan, and Anne Hathaway, is obsessed with footwear and can’t help splashing out on new pairs.

“I love them, I have way too many shoes.”

Rachel wore a pair of Louis Vuitton Cancan boots, which are thigh-high with laces and a four-inch heel, to the Marc Jacobs show at New York Fashion Week on Monday and revealed that they are her current must-have item.

“These boots, I’ve got to have these frickin’ boots. I love them. And I’m obsessed with them. They take a while to get on, but they’re definitely my favorite boots. Clearly they were not meant for me—on the runway they were on a six-foot model—but I don’t care. I think that’s the whole fun of fashion. You should wear it because you feel like it.”

Rachel is a firm believer in experimenting with different looks and adapting your style to suit the season, but admits that she is always inspired by the ‘60s and ‘70s: “Some of my favorite things are vintage scarves, vintage sunglasses, and great cocktail rings. You find them all over the world at flea markets!”

Ashish boots for Topshop

Topshop‘s bloggers gave us a very nice peek at the boots coming straight from Ashish’s Fall/Winter 2009 collection, and boy do I wish I lived in London right now! Of course, there’s New York, but they’ll probably be gone in three seconds once they’re on the floor. Or maybe us online buyers have a glimpse of hope? Probably not, but I’m being optimistic here.

The boots hit stores next week.
