Miranda Kerr is to be the new face of Jil Sander.

The Victoria’s Secret model - who is dating Orlando Bloom - says she is keen to do a “variety” of work within her career and has recently shot a campaign for the minimalist German fashion designer.

“It’s nice to have variety in my work. I don’t ever want to feel pigeon-holed. I still have more coming out this year - a Jil Sander campaign.”

The 27-year-old Australian beauty - who has already made runway appearances for Prada and Balenciaga, taken part in an avant-garde shoot for V Mag and a cover for i-D - is thought to have shot the campaign for this autumn.

Miranda - who wore Jil Sander to last year’s Metropolitan Costume Institute Gala in New York - has previously spoken about how she tries to stay in shape for her career but does indulge in the calorific treat on occasions: “I do eat healthily and am careful with my diet but not all the time. There are times when you want that piece of fried chicken. That’s my big weakness and there’s nothing wrong with that. Everything in moderation, that’s the trick.”
