What do you like on your pizza? Pepperoni? Mushrooms? Spider-Man?

DecoPac, one of the leading cake decorating companies, already has a deal with Marvel Entertainment for cake toppers featuring Marvel Comics characters like Spider-Man, Iron Man and more.

And following a Direct Market tradition, the company has even created a series of limited edition cake decorations.

Their Iron Man 2 package is one of “four collectible Avengers Decosets.” These will be rare, of course, because people don’t put cake in Mylar Snugs and collect them, they put it in their mouth and eat it.

Well now, Marvel and DecoPac are expanding their pact to develop a “line of edible images that can be used to decorate pizza.” They’ve lined up Spider-Man, Super Hero Squad, Wolverine, Iron Man, Captain America and others and you’ll be able to get ‘em at grocery stores and mass-market retailers around the U.S. starting in November.

Paul Gitter, president of consumer products for North America at Marvel Entertainment, gets in the last word: “…These new DecoPac edible images help complete the total Marvel party experience.”

And note to the DecoPac webmaster: it’s Spider-Man. Always Spider-Man.
