Comic Book Jobs: Comic Con International

Posted by Tom Mason Categories: Conventions, Editorials,

Comic Con InternationalIt's just around the corner.

Comic Con International is but a few weeks away, and a number of high profile companies are looking for a little help.

It might be too late for them this year, but each company does other events and you can lay the groundwork for next year's CCI.

Besides, if you get one of the gigs listed here, I'm sure the company has a ticket for you for this year's con. That's a perk that's almost better than your own office. With a window.

Time Warner is looking for a Home Entertainment Specialist for their Turner Broadcasting division.

One of the many duties is: "Coordinate product development and logistics for major events such as Comic Con's and tours." Added perk: the job offers a lot of interaction with Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.

Burbank Television Enterprises in Burbank, CA is looking for a Temporary Marketing Manager. One of the many duties here is: "Orchestrate major conventions/conferences - NATPE, MIP-TV, International Screenings, Promax, Comic-con, and many other conferences throughout the year."

And finally, IGN Entertainment in San Francisco is looking for an Events Manager. They want: "…proven talent in seamless execution of major trade show and consumer events like E3, GDC, SXSW and Comic Con."

Each job has a ton of other responsibilities and lots of qualifications, so please read carefully. If you have trouble with the Time Warner link, jump over to the TW website and hit the careers link.

Good luck, job seekers!
