Report: Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal Break Up

Another fairytale romance has come to an end.
According to People, actors Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal have officially split up. This surprising news comes approximately two years after the former Rendition costars started dating. No reason was provided by the magazine’s source.
Although their relationship did have its rough patches, many thought this Hollywood romance would go the distance. Earlier this year in Elle magazine, the 33-year-old Four Christmases star was still praising Jake. ““He’s fabulous. He really is a fantastic guy,” Reese declared.
Witherspoon, who has been the subject of engagement rumors with Gyllenhaal before, filed for divorce from Ryan Phillippe in 2006 after seven years of marriage. The former couple share two children together: Ava, 10, and Deacon, 6.

Divorce for Dawson’s Creek Star James Van Der Beek

James Van Der Beek has filed for divorce.
The former Dawson’s Creek star split from actress Heather McComb earlier this year and has now started legal proceedings to officially end their six-year marriage. The papers were filed at a Los Angeles court and James cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their break-up.
The pair tied the knot in Malibu in 2003, six months after the sixth and final season of Dawson’s Creek aired. James’ co-stars Michelle Williams and Busy Phillips attended the intimate ceremony.
Friends suspected a divorce was brewing when the couple sold their $2.5 million home in Studio City, California, in March. They put the mansion - which features 180-degree canyon, mountain and city views, and a luxurious mist cooling system - on the market.
Since they tied the knot, James - who played Dawson Leery in the teen drama - has guest starred in How I Met Your Mother, One Tree Hill, Ugly Betty and Medium.
Heather has appeared in Prison Break, Crossing Jordan and CSI: NY.

Susie and Corey Feldman Split

Susie Feldman has filed for divorce from husband Corey, both known more recently for their work on The Two Coreys (2007-2008). That reality series also co-starred Corey Haim.
Together, Corey Haim and Corey Feldman became the “It” boys of the 80s, both exploding on the scene after their work in The Lost Boys.
In addition to ending her seven-year marriage to Feldman, Susie’s also seeking full custody of their son Zen, 5. Susie cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

Avril Lavigne Asking for Divorce

Whispers about a possible split have just grown louder. It’s now being reported that divorce papers will be filed shortly for Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley.
Avril is said to have asked Deryck, whom she wed three years ago, to move out of their Los Angeles mansion after calling time on their relationship. “She dumped him and told him she was leaving him. She wants to move on,” a source told Us Weekly magazine.
The Sum 41 rocker is apparently “crushed” by his wife’s decision and was hoping to work through their problems.
Avril, 24, is so determined to distance herself from the relationship that she has decided to ditch tracks she worked on with Deryck from her upcoming album. “She is going to do new songs that don’t have his mark on them. She wants no trace of him,” a friend told the magazine.
The couple’s marriage has reportedly been in trouble for months now, with Avril often seen partying with friends without her husband. In June, Deryck went to the Los Angeles premiere of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen alone while Avril spent a week holidaying in Saint-Tropez with pals.
Deryck, 29, was also not present when Avril showed her new clothing collection at New York Fashion Week on Monday. Whibley’s representative did not comment on the report, while Lavigne’s could not be reached.

Wow. Wow.
If Tom DeLay had you turning off Dancing with the Stars next season, this bit of news may have you turning back in. After nine months of engagement, Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy have broken up.
The dancing professionals - who recently performed together in Broadway’s Burn the Floor - had been scheduled to marry in June 2010. The wedding would have come a year and a half after Maksim popped the question.

Romance Over for Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo

After approximately three years together, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have called it quits.
The singer and the TV personality started dating in 2006, the same year Lachey’s divorce from Jessica Simpson was finalized. Nick and Vanessa later moved into their own place in April 2007.
Although tabloids had been whispering recently about a possible split, Minnillo denied any problems. “There will always be rumblings and rumors that we’ve broken up, but in fact, it’s very much still on – and it keeps on getting better,” she told People.
According to a statement released today, the two supposedly ended on good terms. “They have amicably split but remain good friends who still greatly care for one another,” Vanessa’s rep stated.
So Jessica gets a new reality show and now Nick Lachey is a bachelor again. Have the seven signs already begun?

Divorce News: Pink and Carey Hart

After two years of marriage, singer Pink and motocross rider Carey Hart are calling it quits.
The two, who were married in Costa Rica in January 2006, had endured rumors of an oncoming split for some time now. Although Carey, 32, had been the subject of infidelity gossip in the past couple of months, the couple had always denied a rift in their relationship.
Pink’s publicist released the following statement to People magazine:
“Pink and Carey Hart have separated. This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another.”
The singer, 28, asked the former Surreal Life star to marry her back in 2005. She had written the proposal on a message board which he had to read while competing in a race.
