Pippa Middleton Eyes Career as a Wedding Planner

Pippa MiddletonPippa Middleton is set to become a wedding planner.

The younger sister of Britain's Duchess of Cambridge recently quit her job at party planning company TableTale and is considering whether or not to move into planning weddings full time after helping out at last year's royal wedding reception.

"Pippa helped her sister and Prince William plan their evening wedding reception at Clarence House - arranging for Kate's preferred scented candles and bowls of Haribo sweets on the tables. Pippa helped with the Royal Wedding, and weddings don't get much bigger than that. She is keen to move into party planning for society wedding receptions - it would be perfect for her. She would go down a storm in America, where they are obsessed with royalty and they have a stronger wedding planner industry," a source told the Mail.

Pippa, also recently arranged the catering at the wedding of her friends Camilla Hook and Sam Holland and pals have urged her to do it full time.

Prince William’s ‘Deeply Romantic’ Wedding

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Weddings, Child Stars,

Fredrick Windsor and wife Sophie WinklemanThe wedding of Britain's Prince William and Duchess Catherine was "deeply romantic."

Actress Sophie Winkleman - who is married to William's cousin Lord Fredrick Windsor - was very impressed with how well the couple coped tying the knot in such a hugely public way: "I don't know how it managed to capture the feeling of amazing love when it was such a stunningly impressive global occasion but it did. It really was deeply romantic."

Despite her husband's regal background, Sophie insists her spouse's family have been very "welcoming" towards her: "When I went to my first formal occasion, I was definitely wobbly, but the whole family has been very welcoming and warm. And let's face it - all families are pretty complicated."

Sophie admitted she feels "saved" by fashion house Armani as she can always rely on their creations when she has to attend formal events: "Armani saved me. Very fashiony things I can't cope with and I don't know if they suit me, but classic stuff tends to work. Armani clothes are beautifully cut and vey imaginative in their own way but they don't wear you."

Royal Wedding Dress Replicas

We can’t all be future Queens, but we can all look like one thanks to Shala Moradi. She’s the director of design at New York’s Faviana, an evening wear company that started working on the pattern for a replica of the royal wedding dress on the Friday before the wedding. After working all weekend, they came up with a copycat royal wedding gown that would make any would-be princess turn pea-green with envy.

Royal Wedding: Details on Prince Harry’s Speech, Wedding Reception

Royal Wedding - Duchess Catherine and Duke William

Prince Harry has always been a little less serious than big brother William (who must always remember that one day, he’ll be a king), and he injected plenty of fun into the after-party following the royal wedding. The Prince’s speech was a huge crowd-pleaser, and filled with laughs.

Harry started out on a serious note, telling Prince William that “Our mother would be so very proud of you.” Then he added that he felt sorry for Kate, because she didn’t marry the good-looking brother (himself!). He delivered the speech standing atop a table.

Reports also say that Prince Harry then unbuttoned his shirt and dived into the crowd at the end of his speech. How’s that for royal decorum?

Royal Wedding Photos: Guests Arrive

The red banners have been draped over the balcony at Buckingham Palace. The trees have been taken inside Westminster Abbey for Kate Middleton's fairy-tale walk down the aisle. The red carpet has been rolled out. And the guests are just starting to arrive at Westminster Abbey to watch the royal wedding.

Wedding gossip tells us that the very first hymn to be played at the nuptials was the very last hymn played at the memorial service for Princess Diana. Crowds have been gathering around Westminster and Buckingham in London for days, hoping to catch a glimpse of the popular royal couple being married today. William is Diana's oldest son, and very beloved to the English people since he was born. William and brother Prince Harry greeted gathering crowds the night before the wedding (though rumor says that Harry still hadn't finished his best man speech at the time!).

Royal Wedding: Royal Titles Revealed

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Engagements, Weddings,

Prince William, Princess Catherine

Just two hours before Kate Middleton was scheduled to walk down the aisle at Westminster Abbey for the royal wedding, Queen Elizabeth II bequeathed her and grandson Prince William with their new titles. It is traditional for royal princes to receive a Dukedom upon marriage. There was much speculation that William would not accept the duchy, even one report that said he did in fact turn it down, but all gossip was dispelled when the announcement was made official. Prince WIilliam is now also the Duke of Cambridge. This means Kate Middleton's title, upon marriage, will become Princess Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. Not bad!
