Jane Lynch Settles Her Divorce

Jane Lynch has amicably settled her divorce.
The Glee star, who filed court documents in July to legally dissolve her three-year marriage to clinical psychologist Lara Embry, whom she split from in February 2012, is still on "very civilized" terms with her ex-wife after coming to an agreement.
A source told gossip website TMZ.com that Lara agreed to accept a more modest sum of spousal support after initially seeking $93,000 per month, and Jane secured full ownership of their former marital home in Los Angeles, which she paid for in full. The former couple, who cited "irreconcilable differences" in their divorce papers, are now on good terms and spent time together over the festive period.
Jane, 53, previously insisted that her divorce was "not a horrible thing" and friends explained the actress wanted to stay friends with Lara for the sake of her former spouse's 10-year-old daughter, Haden. "It's not dramatic. It's not a horrible thing. It's something that we're dealing with. It's two people who just decided it's better to go apart than stay together," she said.

Jane Lynch's estranged wife Lara Embry is seeking spousal support.
The Glee star announced in July she was legally ending her three-year-marriage to the clinical psychologist, whom she split from in February. Lara has now filed documents in Los Angeles Superior Court asking for her attorney fees to be paid by Jane, along with spousal support despite the 53-year-old actress previously seeking to terminate the court's jurisdiction to award spousal support to her ex-wife, according to People.com.
Jane recently insisted their divorce was "not a horrible" thing: "It's not dramatic. "It's not a horrible thing. It's something that we're dealing with. It's two people who just decided it's better to go apart than stay together."
The former couple are determined to maintain an amicable relationship for Lara's daughter, Haden. "All's good. We have a little girl - she has a little girl who's very dear to me. She's 10, and she's doing great ... We have to remain adults, which we have. We keep everybody's - especially Haden's - good in our mind," Jane added.
Jane Lynch Files for Divorce

Jane Lynch has officially filed for divorce from her wife Dr. Lara Embry.
The Glee star and her spouse of three years announced they were splitting last month, and she filed papers to legally end their marriage in Los Angeles County Court on Friday. The 52-year-old actress cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the couple's split and stated that they have been separated since February, according to gossip website TMZ.com.
After announcing their split in June, Jane released a statement insisting she and Lara still "care very deeply" about one another. "Lara and I have decided to end our marriage. This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter," she added.
They first met in 2009 at a fundraiser in San Francisco, California, at which Lara, 44, was receiving an honor. The pair got engaged in 2010 and got married on Memorial Day the same year in an intimate ceremony in Sunderland, Massachusetts.

Jane Lynch and her wife are divorcing.
The Glee star and her spouse Dr. Lara Embry have announced they are splitting after three years of marriage but insists they still "care very deeply" about one another. In a statement released to People, Jane said, "Lara and I have decided to end our marriage. This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter."
Jane, 52, and Lara, 44, first in 2009 at a fundraiser in San Francisco at which Embry was receiving an honor. The pair got engaged in 2010 and got married on Memorial Day the same year in an intimate ceremony in Sunderland, Massachusetts - which is one of only a handful of US states where gay marriage is recognized.
Lara has got a daughter called Haden with whom Jane got very close to during the relationship, previously describing her as her "greatest pleasure" in life. Jane - who plays tough cheerleader coach Sue Sylvester in the musical drama - previously said, "My greatest pleasure is Haden, my stepdaughter. I am surprised how much love you feel and how you would do anything for your children. Some may say I know a thing or two about playing intimidating authority figures but she knows how important love and acceptance is. I am in love and in awe with Haden. I like watching her walk through the world without fear. She happens to be an exceptional human being and one of the most fair, open-hearted, embracing people I have ever met - grown-up or child."
Jane Lynch Has a Crush on Helen Mirren

Jane Lynch thinks that Helen Mirren is a ''vixen''.
The Glee actress doesn't find stereotypical beautiful women attractive, but admits she is more drawn to British actresses - with the Hitchcock star being a particular favorite. "Someone like Helen Mirren [does something for me]: she's a vixen and she's got a potty mouth and she'd be crazy. When I met her, she was so immediately familiar and hilarious. What I love most about British actors is that they don't have to be beautiful to work. Remember Juliet Stevenson in Truly, Madly, Deeply? All those tears and all that snot coming out of her nose? She's beautiful in her own way but not classic looking," she revealed.

Dina Lohan Reacts to Glee Insults
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Television, Child Stars, Rivalries,
Glee has never shied away from controversy. The show took some well-publicized flak for making comments about Lindsay Lohan during Gwyneth Paltrow’s guest-starring stint (“Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy, right?” and “How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?”) . . . but that doesn’t mean they’re going to pass up new jokes.
Two well-placed (and very funny) jokes aimed at Lindsay’s mom Dina Lohan on Sunday night have managed to get Linds, et al., riled up again. During the much-anticipated scene between Glee guest star Katie Couric and Jane Lynch (playing coach Sue Sylvester), the anchor told Sue that she is the Loser of the Year. Sylvester beat out Dina Lohan, Tiger Woods, the economy and also Dina Lohan’s dog Sparky Lohan, among others, to gain the title.
Dina has fired back with a rant given to E! News. “[Glee] has targeted everyone from gays to lesbians, Asians, disabled and each other . . . several groups are going after the producers, including mothers’ groups.”
She went on to say the “dance numbers are amazing,” but “the writers need to be nice and more creative as opposed to being hurtful.”
Some people just can’t take a joke. But we understand that the Lohans are finding little to laugh about these days (Lindsay is facing potential felony charges, though she’s only recently finished another of her rehab stints), so we’ve got some advice for Dina, Linds and the rest of the family: If you want people to stop cracking jokes about you, stop being ridiculous.

VIDEO: Glee Cast Wows X Factor Audience
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Television, Videos,
Glee’s Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Lea Michele, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Naya Rivera, Chord Overstreet, Heather Morris, Mark Salling, Harry Shum, Jr. and Dianna Agron showed up at Britain’s X Factor this week to perform “Don’t Stop Believing,” much to the delight of the crowd. (Chris Colfer was not present, presumably because his character, Kurt, isn’t currently a member of New Directions.)
Their performance was preceded by a funny, taped clip featuring Jane Lynch as Sue Sylvester and Matthew Morrison as club coach Will Schuester.
The number won a rousing standing ovation from the watching judges. Our favorite moment? When Amber Riley stepped down off the stage to belt her line right in Simon Cowell’s face. As any die-hard Gleek will tell you, Riley was rejected during her American Idol audition.
Watch the entire performance in the video above.

VIDEO: Jane Lynch Says DeGeneres Blazed Trail for Gay Actors
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Television, Videos,
Although Jane Lynch has proudly discussed her recent wedding to Dr. Lara Embry, there was a time when she wasn’t so open about her sexuality. Thankfully, fellow actors like Ellen DeGeneres made it easier for her to do so.
“I was more closeted in my life when I was younger,” the Emmy winner revealed. “By the time I started to do work and people knew who I was, I just never made the choice to hide that I was gay.”
“By the time you get to be our age, Ellen, there are no big deals anymore,” she added.
Of course, a little inspiration always helps. “You were at the height of your fame and you came out,” Lynch told DeGeneres. “And that just blazed a trail for me. It really did. It made it so much easier for me what you did.”
