Ben Affleck says three kids is "enough." The Oscar-winning actor-and-director - who has daughters Violet, seven and Seraphina, four, as well as 15-month-old son Samuel with wife Jennifer Garner - has revealed he's not interested in adding to his brood and is content with having just three children.

"That's not going to happen. We're in a really good place. Three is good! That's enough!" he insisted to Extra.

Ben Affleck’s Kids Won’t Act

The Argo star - who has three children, Violet, seven, Seraphina, four, and 11-month-old Samuel, with his actress wife Jennifer Garner - has admitted he doesn't want them to work in Hollywood because he already thinks they are exposed too much.

"I would do whatever I could to discourage that. My kids have enough issues of being exposed in ways that I don't want them to be exposed, in magazines and shows and stuff," he said.

However the actor admitted that when his children get older, he will support them if they are interested in learning more about acting: "You know, if you're interested in drama, there's great theatre classes and stuff and that's what's appropriate."

Ben AffleckBen Affleck has hinted he is planning to pursue a career in politics.

The 40-year-old Argo star - who is tipped to win an Oscar for his performance in the critically acclaimed movie - has admitted he might be tempted to run for the US Senate in the future, despite his hugely successful careers in front of and behind the camera because he is very fond of the country's political system.

When asked if he would consider running for election, the father-of-three told CBS's Face The Nation, "One never knows. I'm not one to get into conjecture. I do have a great fondness and admiration for the political process in this country. It's a big deal for me to come down here and be on your show that I've watched so much, but I'm not going to get into speculation about my political future."

The Butter actress currently has Violet, six, Seraphina, three and six-month-old son Samuel with husband Ben Affleck, but while she admits she is happy to stop expanding her family, she is worried about Ben's "wonder sperm" getting her pregnant again.

Speaking in excerpts from The Ellen DeGeneres Show to be shown tomorrow, she said, "No I definitely, I plan to be done. But my husband is kind of a wonder sperm kind of guy."

Jennifer also reveals The Town actor Ben is very good at playing with his young daughters. "You know his girls are so into him. He kind of excels at playing baby doll!" she added.

Speaking recently, Ben said he was concerned he was not around his children enough and relied on Jennifer to provide for them. "I am not very present in the rest of my life. My wife's very patient. She does everything. If I have time, I try to spend time with my kids, even if just to be a physical presence, the bath, whatever," he said.

The Town actor admits his wife Jennifer Garner does "everything" with their children Violet, six, Seraphina, three and six-month-old Samuel because he is often not around, but does try and do things with them whenever he can.

"I am not very present in the rest of my life. My wife's very patient. She does everything. If I have time, I try to spend time with my kids, even if just to be a physical presence, the bath, whatever."

However, the 40-year-old star does not believe he could be a full-time stay-at-home father because he loves his work too much. "I don't want to be a stay-at-home dad. Work is very important to me. I like to work. But I need my work to mean something to me in order for me to not be home with them," he said.

Jennifer Garner Doesn’t Want More Kids

The 40-year-old actress only gave birth to their third child, son Samuel, in February, but the 39-year-old actor already has plans to increase their brood. However, Jennifer insists it is going to be an "uphill battle" to convince her to get pregnant again because she is happy with the kids they have and wants to stop extending their family.

"The fact that Ben wants another [baby] is true. But I can tell you that would be a pretty uphill battle with me. I am not anticipating having any more kids!" she said.

Although the couple's house is chaotic with Samuel, six-year-old Violet and Seraphina, three, to look after, the Arthur star admits that Ben is a very hands-on dad. The Hollywood heartthrob took some time off from work to help with the kids and Jennifer has nothing but praise for Ben's parenting skills: "Ben took a break. He came, he did the school drop-offs and pick-ups and bedtimes."

The couple - who also have two daughters, six-year-old Violet and three-year-old Seraphina - welcomed their "healthy" third child on Monday in Santa Monica, California.

"We are happy to announce on February 27, Jennifer gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Samuel Garner Affleck," Ben wrote on his Facebook page.

The 39-year-old actress - who has been married to the 39-year-old star since June 2005 - recently revealed the pair's daughters had been thinking of possible Disney-related names to call their newborn child: "Our girls are working on names. At first they were definitely Disney. It was like, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse Affleck. And then they've moved on. Then it was Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Smee."

"I would have thought [he wanted a boy]. At first I think I really thought so. And then he kind of said, 'Well, we have girls. We know how to do girls. My girls love me. I'm the big guy in the house.' So, now I'm not sure," she told Jay Leno.

The actress - who married her actor husband in June 2005 - has admits the Hollywood heartthrob won her over through the internet because he has such a good way with words.

“It helped that we were both single at the time. He’s a very good writer.”

When asked if he wrote her love letters, she said, “Don’t make assumptions. I didn’t say that! Okay… e-mail. He’s a very persuasive writer.”

The 37-year-old beauty - who is previously divorced from actor Scott Foley - said the secret to their relationship was that they were friends before, and knew how to be “goofy” with one another. She added to Parade magazine, “Ben is sexy and kind, but he’s also a riot. We can be very goofy together. He doesn’t have trouble wiggling his way in anywhere. Ben is charm personified when he wants to be. He’s not easily threatened or made uncomfortable - he’s very secure in that way. Maybe he just knows I’m nuts about him, and he doesn’t have anything to worry about. Don’t forget we were friends first for a long time.”
