Laila AliMirror ball, schmirror ball.  Two former participants of have had much better things to celebrate in the past few weeks.

In an upcoming issue of Essence magazine, reveals that she will soon have an entirely new role to master.  The professional boxer - and Season Four competitor - is now becoming a mom.

Laila, 30, married former NFL player Curtis Conway last July, just a few months after her dancing run ended.  Although this will be the couple’s first child together, Conway, 37, already has two sons and a daughter.

Pregnant or not, Ali is still expected to return as co-host of this summer.

Michael jacksonDespite coming narrowly close to losing his Los Olivos home, has managed to stay on as owner of Neverland Ranch.

The 2500-acre property was set to go on the auction block next week due to unpaid taxes.  Luckily for Jackson, his lawyers were able to work out a private agreement that would allow him to refinance his $24.5 million debt.

It’s unclear at this point whether the singer will opt to hang on to the home or attempt to sell it on his own terms.  Michael has not actually lived on the estate since the whole 2005 child molestation scandal.

David Beckham - Victoria’s better half - is one of the parties rumored to be interested in the property.

Snoop DoggWhen did wrestling become so hip?

Okay - I admittedly am not a fan of the ‘sport’, so when I hear something related to the letters WWE, I usually flip the channel.  But when the topic starts invading shows like Project Runway, you kind of have to take notice.

While I don’t find it surprising that and Dancing with the Stars’ Floyd Mayweather have been linked to this year’s Wrestlemania event, others names seem a bit out of place.

First off, John Legend is scheduled to perform during the March 30 Wrestlemania XXIV spectacular in Orlando.  The R&B singer, yes R&B, will get the program started with his rendition of “America the Beautiful.”  Then there’s Raven-Symone.  The star will host a ‘wish-granting event’ during that same weekend.

Disney and wrestling?  When did I become so uncool?
